    java and keyloggers?

Read somewhere that a custom written keylogger in java is undectable by sites like jotti. Is this true?

So pretty much anything we find here could have a keylogger inbedded?

    thanks

    java and keyloggers?

well, kinda, most likely not though. Only really good coded private keyloggers are undetectable, they are never released to public. They barely keylogg people with it because scanning with jotti saves the results in the database. Im not an expert at this kind of stuff but know a little about it.

    java and keyloggers?

what exactly is a "Virus Language"? Any programming language can be used to make an efficient keylogger. It all depends on how you do it. If i wanted to, i could make an undetectable keylogger within 20 mins, lol. It's not hard.

O RLY?? Avg is practically shit compared to Nod32 ;). Just for your knowledge, so yeah, pretty much. Splice a good packer into it and avg will think its as friendly as your next door neighbor, who is actually a serial-killer. :O

    java and keyloggers?

Yes, Java's syntax is derived from C and C++ which makes it possible, but im not sure about Javascript, Im unsure because Javascript is derived from C's syntax which makes it possible to make a keylogger, but for a correct answer have to ask Cruel or speljohan. You would also have to watch out for the newer languages like Ruby which are derived from Python and Python is derived from Perl and Perl is derived from C. Basically anything can be made into a corruptive file which can damage/corrupt your computers files, just scan with virusscan.jotti.org and your personal anti-virus, most stuff that is binded is poorly binded and is highly detectable, and if it passes your tests more than twice, its a pretty safe download. Could I also redirect the readers of this post to this thread,

I think it would be wise to cease discussion and wait for the thread to be locked.

    java and keyloggers?

It can be made. Jotti just compares viruses against a database, and uses sandbox emulation (if it takes too long, its suspicious).
If you have just written a whole new virus, different from all others, it WILL NOT be detected.

    java and keyloggers?

Sorry to say, but not everything can be done by batch. Batch doesn't really hold a direct interface to windows, and can't go that far. Try some other language.

Darkgroove: I highly doubt you're making a keylogger for a c++ class. Too many people are just too lazy/fed up with with searching to find out, and claim to be making a keylogger for school.
    Nice try, but phail.

    java and keyloggers?

Javascript can't build a keylogger, but it can build things detected by anti virus software and also ROFL at whoever said nod32 is good. nod32 is a failure. It allows me to run vnc payloads on people without detection. It can't even detect will know exploits and trojans, it just spends its time telling you that ice cold reloaded is a homac hacktool. If anything avast totally outclasses fail32. Also java can make a keylogger, jotti couldn't pick it up as it would be most likely in a bot. The bot would require the logger to run and would still function, only everytime you send a key, it would send that key to the specific server. Also no keylogging discussion anymore so this is locked.
