Prom...

What do you think of Prom? For those of you who fail, and don't know what it is, click here.

Honestly, I cannot stand it. I see all these people getting so excited about it, saying it's going to be the best night of their lives, etc.

Then you hear that kids were drinking, driving, then drinking some more at a party. Gah...

I just feel that it doesn't matter. In five years, will Prom affect your life significantly? I don't think so.

Discuss...

 

I really didn't think much of it, but it was kind of fun. I guess.

 

I've never be to any of my proms and don't plan on it..

Lmao how could you not go to prom. Its just a great event to make you remember your highschool years. And who doesn't like to party.....

And yes they are fun... I don't drink, smoke.. or anything. Im clean.

 

It is a good event, but it is also bad with all the preasure of getting a date and a good one. Like for example their was this school that would not let you go to the prom without a date, now that is pretty dumb in my eyes.

 

Haha..I went last year with a junior. (I was a freshman)

And there was only 3 freshman. I felt cool..kinda. Haha.

 

I don't plan on getting wasted or high at prom. I just think it would be a fun time.

I tend to be perceived as the "dark, angry kid" a lot. It wouldn't do to have me dancing and being riotously happy in general. It would be like having Rammstein play AC/DC songs. It just wouldn't be right.

When I think back on my high school years I want to remember my friends, not some silly party.

I don't see why these girls gets excited because of the prom. It's like a normal party but where people have nice clothes and you party with your friends and your teachers...

No I'm not. I'm not going to college. And for the celebrating thing, yeah right, read what we wrote, we wouldn't be dancing at all. For me prom is just the school getting benefits from us.

I don't dance and my friends are out of my school. + the day of the prom this year is a very important date to me, June 24th (In quebec it's quebec birthday and we ALL celebrate it)
