Actually, I read somewhere that it was possible to have the Earth vanish into nothingness, but the odds were 1/ 10^10^100. Basically, it will never happen.

This is different, though. Each particle has a chance of randomly disappearing, then reappearing. At some point, a group of 10 particles must randomly disappear. It must also happen to groups of 100, 1,000, and so on.
