Why do people buy Amazon gift cards?

i understand buying one for ur own use, but I see shops and they like bug lots of Amazon gift cards for like 60% value but I don't see anyone selling them? What do they do with them

 

Buy stuff on Amazon for cheaper because they bought prepaid cards for lesser value than they're worth

Damnn, buying these gift cards is such a good way to save money, do you sell the stuff you buy on Amazon or is it always for your own use? And do cards from the US work in Canada?

 

I just buy US cards and I keep the stuff I buy

 

Spent around $1,000 in knives, another $850 on JBL speakers and a Yamaha stereo system. Aside from that, a lot of clothing and useless junk

 

Bought all my computer parts off amazon and now I just get random stuff. The shipping to Canada really nullifies my savings though
