Yeah it has a lot of useful features. It also makes your computer run smoother. It compiles your files into a sync so you don't have to worry about loosin anything. It comes with windows defender and all that good stuff, but you have to get your own antivirus unless you buy ultimate.

Explain more. By download, what do you mean? You can still download stuff, and, faster than XP.

Vista is Shit, its protection sucks, XP is more secure, popular and widely used programs don't work on it and much more!

If you like the shiny stuff Download Windows Transformation Pack ! I have it, turns XP in Vista Graphics no equipment needed. Like the week Vista came out i D/l ultimate, it was shit. At least wait till SP2 comes for Vista!

Would anyone know what the lowest GeForce model would be to properly run Vista? I've got a 6100 on board at the moment and want to know if I will have to buy a new one to run Vista.

    You should be fine, Atomic.

DX9 GFX card + 1gb of RAM = Aero Glass.

    No problems. Enjoy Vista!

Mind you, you shold use Microsoft's nVidia driver for now. nVidia's Vista driver is still in BETA and can be unstable.

yeah your ok to dl Atomic ;)

You are retarded, why would they make a new windows worse then the previous windows?? I have it and the protection on it is much better than XP, even though they both are shit. I suggest Downloading your own security which has always been the better choice. Windows Vista was just to make windows more easier to use, which it really is. And the programs it comes with like voice recognition, search tab in every window, start tab much easier to look through,...etc. are great and help a lot with most people that program or just need to do things faster.

Guess what? Any decent software vendor has a patch to make their program run on Vista. If not, then there's probably a better alternative anyway.

Vista > XP in almost every way. Even WITHOUT Aero Glass

Don't beleive the propoganda. Vista is more secure than XP was at release. Also, Vista has had around the same number of security flaws as OS X. But Apple don't tell you that, do they?

I've heard of at least 2 big OS X exploits in the last month or so.

i hate vista... tried it out for a couple of months, but it turns out to be just as shitty as XP. As soon as you start to install alot of software, the computer tends to get slow. This never happens when running linux. I will never go back to windows. They won't be on the market for long anyway. Unix-based systems WILL take over as they are growing extremely fast.

I have tried vista, and I don't find it to be that great. I think I will stick with XP, until I am sure Vista will cause me no problems.
