All that the bible is is just an attempt to explain things just like greek mythology, roman mythology, bla bla bla...

Do you think that someone put two of EVERY SINGLE SPECIES OF ANIMALS in a wooden boat? I dont really think so. Plus, there are a lot of scientific evidence that there WAS a LOCALIZED flood. As ice caps melted, one sea rushed over land, and into another small sea (cant remember the name) and flood A PART of the Earth. However, to thoses people, it SEEMED, like the whole world. it wasn't.

And Daily500 DOES have a point, if you want to believe that it was a flying macaronni that created the Earth and all, go ahead, but you dont have to MAKE ME believe that too. No offence.

 

But it's not impossible, so why bring it up?

The flood was made to rid the world of man. So could not the flooded part of the Earth be the only region where men resided? And that'd mean that only the local animals would need to be gathered as well.
I mean... there are many possibilities because the Bible doesn't directly and clearly give record of most things. But it's certainly not meant to be purely fictitious or figurative.

He doesn't have a point because he just stated his opinion without any basis.
And no one is forcing you to believe anything, their just exposing you to it.

 

Last time I checked animals were here BEFORE God made man. He didn't make Adam and Eve "right away"

Dinosaurs were here millions of years ago, humans were been here for thousands of years,

By the way....The Bible never said anything about creating Adam and Eve right after he Created Earth.

(this=fact)-ok see, the bible uses numbers such as 7 which means physical completion, 12-spirtual completion, 40-..damn.....somethin else completion (ill tell u once i remem.....)


(this=my theroy, u dont gotta belive it but hell im just tryn to answer ur question)-but the "7 days" of creation more than likely had nothing to do with the days we accoiate with because our logic of time wasnt there whn God created everything, so inbetween days it couldve been millions of year, we dont kno, but this part ties into science, making fossil records possible to belive.

 

haha actually i hate to rain on ur parade here but ummm yea there is its somewhere in the book of Acts so o well.................

 

ya i was wondering about that also. here are my conclusions.

1. They were on a diffrent part of the world then were adam and eve were.

2. "A day" is not necessarily 24 hours it could be millions of years.

 

A day could be a million years, 1 day, a week, god is not bound by time.

And you idiots, dinosaurs are fucking animals

 

in genisis i think pangea is already broken up into nearly present day continents and evidence of the earths previous geography and discovieries of fossils all over the planet does make this sort of interesting.... I woulda never thought of dinosaurs though when thinking of Adam and Eve so, interesting topic i think

 

1). Keep the anger levels to a minimum.

2). Don't post your opinions as fact (as in "God is the only way, that's just it", or "There is no God".)

3). The Bible doesn't say anything about humans 65 million years ago...
