Recent Big Updates:
Walking animations for players and all wild life.
Stone houses.
Dragons and most unique npcs have proper skins now.

Wurm Online is a java based game. Players are born into a medieval world where almost anything can be built or terraformed to your likings. Serve ether the white light or black light in a never ending battle between good and bad.

PvP is only allowed on the wild server(P2P). But you can train your skills on the safe home server. Player interaction between other players in wurm online is like no other game, since the game has no quest or any challenges players are forced into role playing.

In times of war, players(other lights) kill and raid towns without any rules holding them back like in some games.

In the Home Server players are safe from all the PvP and war of the wild server. You may train your skill to 20 free of charge, but if you want to play and gain beyond 20 of anyskill you will need to buy premium time.

Major skills in wurm are Digging,fighting,cooking,fishing,mining
,smithing,farming,archery,carpentry,masonary and alot more i cant think of.

All items and towns in wurm online are player made.

I tried playing that game once but i lagged real bad for some odd reason. it looks really good though maybe i'll try it again.

 

There is a kouple ways of downgrading the lag, thou i dont think its needed if you have a good gfx card(less then 2 years old).

1.Try turning off the antialiasing and anisotropic filtering on your gfx card settings before you go into the game.

2.Make sure your gfx cards are patched and support opengl.

3.In the start up menu, If you have a nvidia gfx card choose JOGL and AWT as your game renderer.

If you have a Ati gfx card choose LWJGL as your game renderer.

4.In the start up menu, open the advanced colum and uncheck all the settings.

5. Lower all game settings.

The game would look cool if it could have graphics like rappelz or sro... Sounds nice though
