You grossly underestimate how much time I have to respond to a thread in an attempt to make an argument that I believe has little to no chance in effecting your stances in any manner.

    Anyway.

    - Blatant bias by anyone attempting to portray an argument hurts their argument. You go in looking at facts and then attempt to portray them aka why I bring up the host.
    - You can manipulate statistics very easily and it is not all-that-difficult to draw a conclusion out of a sect of data that is completely contradictory to the actual conclusion. Selectively choosing statistics isn't new and it sure as hell isn't accurate.
    - I attacked the polling due to unconscious bias that often litters polling (ex: calling of landlines in which an older sect of the population is more likely to own)

I skimmed the poll, here's a few things:
    - You fail to mention one of the poll's kept concepts of Sharia law only being enforced on Muslims.
-- If this were the case, Sharia law would not even apply to you.
-- Guess it's a huge issue having a religious based legal system that doesn't effect you=\
    - You fail to mention the differing support for concepts of Sharia law with harsher ones being admitted
    - You fail to mention there is an age difference in support.
-- Selectively looking at higher ages could easily inflate the results.
-- If older individuals were polled heavier, results would be inflated.

By the way, taken from your polling information:

I may or may not respond, but don't PM me asking for a response. I have other things to do than monitor a thread dealing with a moronic concept that in all practically is impossible to implement.

"Less than 20% of Muslims support ISIS."

That is a false statement in general.

Personally I know 250-500 Muslims, if not more, including myself and not a single one supports ISIS. These people reside all over the world, including UK/Europe, US and middle eastern countries. If we are going with the statement that 300Million Muslims want to blow you up (as ISIS supporters would do), do you not think you would be dead by now? If we are saying 1 in 5 Muslims support ISIS, then do I happen to know 250+ Muslims that some how do not support ISIS. What are the chances they are not apart of the 1 in 5 ratio. I mean its up to you to acknowledge whether I know these people or not, but considering most the people on this thread who are for the argument of introducing the ban do not know much about Islam or know Muslims to have their own evidence of what Muslims think, I have tried giving you some insight and knowledge on us Muslims.

Anyways personally (not as a Muslim) but morally I would not want to visit America, so the idea of a ban on me entering as Muslim does not phase me (does not effect me). Although I do not agree with a ban on Muslims entering America. Firstly how does Donald Trump plan to ensure Muslims are not entering? Muslims are from all races. White to Black. All nationalities. Secondly, who does Donald Trump plan on banning? Jermaine and Janet Jackson, would MJ, Malcolm X, Diana have been banned? Akon? Muhammed Ali, Ice Cube, Zayn Malik, T-Pain, Amir Khan, and a lot more notable Muslims around the world. Would Middle Eastern royalty be banned? Or just the refugees? Or all and every single Muslim, including those who work, own businesses, product manufacturers, food industry workers, politicians, teachers, doctors and more. Thirdly, (@ op) you say the Muslims residing in America would not be affected, but in all honesty even you have doubts as to whether that would be in effect. Not only would it be against Human Rights, the whole establishment that America is formed on would be nothing more then a hypocritical lie. Also if the concept of Muslims being banned goes ahead, then would it be fair for all middle eastern countries to ban America and Americans? Including the army which always seem to be going into Middle Eastern countries and killing more people. E.G. Iraq.

I agree with majority of Tmoe's statements.

I don't understand why any kind of "Trump" policy or argument needs to be enacted. Donald Trump is a reality star tv personal, he's not intellectual, he doesn't know what he's doing. He simply got hitched by the media and his "joke" became a nightmare and reality. One of my professors who attends many congressional hearings and what not has explained to me that many politicians in Washington are shitting themselves because this guy is even allowed to run for president with his mindset/speeches. He's a complete fool without a doubt and nobody can give a legitimate reason why this cretin of a human being would make a good president. Anyone who argues with "he's successful", "he's dominant" is just a typical wanna-be "I know my politics" BUT really doesn't have the slightest clue.

On-topic, who is he to suppress people based on religion? This country's fundamental view and creation was based on religion. I'm not religious but the fact that you can label Muslims as a threat and that they must be banned from entering this country is more preposterous than the idea of Trump being president.

The only good argument for Trump's nomination is a wake-up call for this country because it's on the brink of a political/physical revolution.

FeelsBadMan for the USA, I can't believe how close this guy is to becoming the president. Just the way he talks makes me wonder how anyone could support a person with this mindset and racial beliefs

He's not close at all, and nor will he win. He cannot beat the power of Corporate America that supports Hillary Clinton, just look at Bernie Sanders... Lol.. This country is fucked because of the loopholes we have in American society that allow for such vasts of power to be concentrated in greedy, selfish corporations.

Being a presidential nominee counts as close and it is highly unlikely - but possible - he will win. I say highly unlikely due to in the last 6 presidential elections 230 delegates went to democrats while 120 went to republicans, creating a much bigger margin for the republican party to climb. Donald Trump has alienated segments of constituents (Women, Mexicans, Muslims, and so forth) and will be hard pressed to gain major ground in the general election.

    - Corporate America supports both parties
    - Sanders has lost in part due to his inability to attract support outside of the 18-25 age group. There has been less coverage, but "evil corporate america" is hardly the sole reason for his likely failed bid as the presidential nominee.
    - The U.S. has a variety of other issues not related to that of tax loopholes. They are there, but they are not sum of all the country's issues.

So you have the time to post your wild theories about things you know nothing about, and time to flame people who deliver the facts to you, but not enough time to provide a single shred of evidence for any of your claims whatsoever?

-Sharia is not only enforced on Muslims in countries where Sharia is the law.
--About half polled agree that non-Muslims must submit to Sharia
    [IMG]

So were older individuals polled heavier?

    ______________

Anyways, why you didn't make mention of execution of homosexuals, execution of people who leave Islam, women's rights etc? Does sexual and religious freedom, and equality of the sexes not matter to you?

Not at all, I don't think Corporate America is as stupid as our political system. They wouldn't support a fool such as Trump because they know he will be problematic for the world and America itself. There's no way they support him.

You're also wrong in the "supporting" aspect in this way as well...

Not sure where I posted any wild theories and I tend to stick to areas in which I am fairly competent. I am not going to spend time researching for a post on some forum and sticking to areas I am familiar with minimizes this.

That isn't entirely true, multiple countries have law systems incorporated at lower levels that are relevant to the beliefs of that group.

    While half do not

No idea, didn't see anywhere with a breakdown of actual statistics and as I mentioned earlier I skimmed it. It is a pain in the ass to take the time to respond to posts that involve reviewing of sources or anything of that nature (time I'm not willing to commit).

Again I skimmed and I have no idea what the polling on such data indicated. I found none of the issues all-that-relevant to my response and included that one aforementioned poll due to recalling something regarding support for suicide attacks (don't even know the specifics tbh).

I stated the Republican party, not Donald Trump. Trump himself has stated he does not need to unify the Republican party and it can be argued he hardly represents the Republican party. If anything, he has contributed to its destruction.

Hmm.. looking at campaign donations prior to the actual general election when the race started with an excess of a dozen candidates, multiple whom were mainstream republicans and were favored greatly over Donald Trump. Amazing!

I was speaking of Trump in regard to his position in the Republican Party, then again Trump completely dismantled the Republican Party and its power. If he wanted to ultimately rid of Republican power, he could do so fairly easily by pulling everyone off of the party, and running independently.

Who are you to say Donald John Trump isn't intellectual? He'll most definitely have x10,000 more money then you'll ever own at once in your entire life, and that's an understatement. He needed some intellectual to get that. Also, don't you realize that you're discriminating by saying that his mindsets are discriminating? Not all Muslims are involved with ISIS, but a majority involved with ISIS is Muslim.

Are you stupid? You obviously haven't watched his speeches. He has the most basic vocabulary.. His word choice is horrendous... The only reason he has money is because of his family. As for his personal ventures... Well... Let's get started...

-Mortgaging company a few months prior to the recession of 2008 -- Trump stated "This is going to be the best time to invest" --- Real estate crashes insanely.

-Trump steak brand? are you fucking kidding me?

-His names are all over NYC, he doesn't own most of those buildings his names are labelled on.

-His "billions" aren't even confirmed... there's a reason he's hiding his taxes bud.

-He's not successful most of his business ventures have failed miserably. His most recent successful business venture is this campaign run based on the stupidity of the American people. Nothing new here.. most of this country is pretty fucking stupid.

-His casinos in Atlantic city have shut down due to failure.

You obviously lack background knowledge on Mr. Trump... you're one of those typical people that when asked: "Why do you support Trump for president?" Your reply is "Because he's successful"... Give me millions of dollars from my family... Give me a reputation based on my family's name around the country.. and I guarantee you I'd become 40x more successful than him. So be it he has the money but it doesn't mean he isn't a complete fool. It's time people like you got slapped in the face and woke up from your "lalaland"... you're part of the reason this country is going to straight trash. Sorry to break it to you.

You didn't break anything to me. We are still in a recession, and he's just a human - he doesn't know everything, he makes mistakes. And yes, I watched his speeches, pretty much all of them as a matter of fact - he doesn't use any advanced vocabulary, why should he? He's not like one of those crooked politicians who spend a week on a speech and then use words that a majority of their listeners don't know. Donald Trump speaks whats on his mind, - let me ask you, do you use any 'big words' when you are thinking? The answer is probably no. You said, and I quote, "-His names are all over NYC, he doesn't own most of those buildings his names are labelled on.""

Well, he didn't manage his casino fully. You have to remember he owns many companies, he sometimes hired the wrong people to manage them. And he released documents and all stating his wealth. And you say he's not successful? He was a reality TV show star, the Trump name is infamous in New York, and now - he's famous everywhere. He was said to inherit a sum of $40M-200M - and now he has billions. Even if he only has one billion, he still would be very successful.

I agree a lot with what he said, not all. I agree with nothing Hilary Clinton says, I agree with nothing the Soclalist Bernie Sanders said, I barely agree with anything eliminaTED Cruz said.

And I'm one of the people who should be slapped? Please ...

How is Donald Trump racist? He doesn't want people coming here who have the potential to harm the citizens of America, America already is hurting America, we don't need more chaos. Everyone from every ethnicity can home here, but legally. I've read a variety of books by Donald Trump.

You're just another typical societal dwelling human being... just keep going with the flow, you obviously have no clue what you're talking about. When I speak off the top of my head, I can conjuncture a pretty well-developed speech. I do it on a daily basis in class, presentations, etc. It's not hard. Trump is a fool. Lmao.

Just wondering if you have any clue on how many businesses Trump owns and how many of them have not worked out vs the average rate of new businesses failing? That would be a good indicator if Trump is under the average, above the average or possibly a lot better than the average (this would explain why he is a billionaire). I saw you listing some of his ventures, but only the ones that you deemed to have "gone bad". I for example have heard that Trump steaks was a publicity stunt for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sharper_Image, that was the only place you could buy the steaks(and only online, so they didn't really have any meat at the shop). This possibly boosted Sharpers Images brand and sales in overal. I'd imagine that there are more of these sort of "businesses" where the aim has been to boost another brand using the Trump brand. Just making shit up here, but it's possible that the selling meat only made like 50k$ per year, but the promo that Sharper Image got boosted it's profit by 500k$ or more.

Would be good to know his success vs failure ratio before calling him a bad or a good businessman.

You're so right, I wonder why he's hiding his taxes... Hmmm, maybe it would expose who he's affiliated with and how much he really has. I love people who read things off of wikipedia andwhat not without questioning if information is valid ornit. Read what you wrote and try to understand how foolish what you typed is. He's failed in so many aspects of intellect and business itself.

You are clearly very misinformed when it comes to trump and don't even know the facts. You don't seem to know how many successful business vs bad ones he has, yet you act as you do. I don't think there is any point in replying to you if your only sources are comedians. Have a good day and stay in your little bubble.

Whats your point in all of this, lets say even if he was a "successful" businessman and he did it all on his own, without his family's name, are you trying to argue this man would be a great forward for this country as president? Are you mentally inept or...? I'm kind of confused here..
