I don't like the notion of rating drafts immediately after the draft since no one knows how any of them will turn out.

Biggest Disappointments

No. 1: Seattle Seahawks

After one of the worst picks in the first round I can ever remember, the Seattle Seahawks didn't draft any positions of need or draft for the future.

Pete Carroll is proving why he didn’t make it in the NFL the first time. Not only was Bruce Irvin a reach at No. 15, the Seahawks proved they were oblivious to their madness by celebrating their selection.

As if the day wasn’t bad enough, Seattle selecting Russell Wilson, a QB that doesn’t fit their offense at all, was by far the worst move of the draft. With the two worst moves of the draft, Seattle is the only team that received an F on draft day.


Yet this draft was one of their better ones and netted them several starters

I understand what you're saying, but if the talent plays the way that they're capable and I know that's a big IF but if it does happen I think the Jags make the playoffs actually.

 

Potentially, their FO seems to be making good moves. Fowler basically had a red shirt year after his unfortunate injury too so he's basically coming in fresh too (although a rookie missing his first year typically de-rails his career, considering he's such a talent I think he'll be OK).

Given their weak division I'd say they seem poised to take it.

 

Their defense on paper is a top 5 easily in my opinion. But that doesn't mean they will play up to it. I also think the Raiders are going to be extremely competitive.

 

Colts Super Bowl Champions. Andrew Luck GOAT, and now that they are building a line. Watch out!

 

Time will tell, I mean Jalen may be missing time already as is with a meniscus problem. You can have all the talent in the world such as the Eagles vaunted secondary several years ago that didn't go according to plan.

Are you not concerned about a potential regression from him? The "building" of the line mostly depends on the immediate contribution from rookies too.

 

Honestly, I'm very confident in him. He had so many injuries last year, and the team couldn't get anything going defensively. I've liked the small moves they've made. However, I still think we need to lose Pagano.

 

Yeah I think you could do with losing Pagano but I think you also have to get rid of Jim Irsay too. Easier said than done however. How concerned are you with his upcoming pay day?

 

I think he should get as much money as he wants. He's a top-tier Quarterback, and I have trust in him.

 

OTAs are under way thank god. We're past the half way part of the off season!

With who their starting QB will be? They have no chance of winning the division and therefore have to vie for a wildcard but I'm not sure it will happen or not, convince me.

I want to see Geno with a real receiving corps. He went 8-8 with Jeremy Shitly as his #1 option.

 

Hope you're not talking about Kerley. He was extremely good for us and was a 3rd down machine. Gailey is a perfect fit for Geno, hoping we don't re-sign Fitz.could easily go 8-8 or 10-6. Very difficult schedule this year. Huge upgrades on defense. Decker, Marshall, Forte. Should be an exciting year.

 

I'm not a big fan of Kerley at all and believe he has beyond overrated for whatever reason. However I want to see Geno with this elite receiving corps as I think he can thrive and can actually pass over 10 yards..

 

I loved Kerley, man. He's a small slot receiver and they were forced to put him as a #1. Cant blame him for Rex and Co. If Geno can't perform(hoping he can though.. bought his jersey when we first drafted him. ), hoping we lean a lot on the run, honestly rather than switching to Petty or Hack. Forte, Powell, and Robinson could be nasty. Healthy Revis, upgraded linebacking core. Nasty D-line. And if Marc Will plays like he has these past couple of years and if Milliner can actually step on the field, could be a nasty defense.

 

I lost all hope on Milliner. I got high hopes on Marcus Williams and Buster.
