Chatbox system where people can pm eachother and reply instantly

Hello, i was wondering if there would be a way to implement a chatbox system somewhere on sythe where people can message eachother instantly just like on skype. This would help with a lot of imposter problems especially the methods imposters are using now is kind of hard and stressful to deal with, and the sythe inbox messaging take too long and is very nerve wrecking.

 

This is what sythe chat was, but it was rarely used so it was removed.

What about a Facebook type chat system?

well, its very dumb if it got shutdown... The facebook type of chat system is what i was thinking of. It's not that easy dealing with imposters anymore. too many new users get scammed and never return to the site after.

 

Here is the explanation for why a Facebook style chat wouldn't be feasible.

 

you know I had an idea for XEN regarding this, theres room on the far right side for like a "friends list" type of thing, its possible when clicking this friends list it could open a chat box sort of thing.


its basically sythechat without the downside, like theres a friends list(say it displays up to 5 friends at a time), u can click their name and it pulls up a shoutbox type of interface or a facebook message type of interface and allows u to instantly message.


Seems to be the best of both worlds really.

 

CometChat could be the solution for this.

 

Not going to happen again anytime soon.
