Running a bot farm

Curious to see who is running, or knows someone running, a successful bot farm and making decent change doing so.

Obviously there are tons of people out there doing it, but is there anyone here on Sythe that's crushing it?
How many bots do you use?
How many accs get banned per month?
Etc. ETc.

With the current ban rates bot farms have dramatically dropped.

I have a friend who runs one with around 20 bots but he has to replace bots pretty often.

 

I run about ~10 bots, all private scripts so they hardly get banned. Usually replace them every 2 months..

If you want to start for yourself keep in mind to avoid highly botted things like WC, fishing, mining, hunter, green dragons etc.

I'm currently running 10 bots, making on average 175k an hour, 24 hours a day. I'd say the accounts get banned maybe once a month. Looking @ adding more accounts to the mix, without killing the price of items.

 

I've heard of people who've been mass banned and some who get away with it for ages. You do get caught in the long run though, so i'd say sell your profits every set day and don't just keep stacking money into a very large lump sum.

 

As long as you stay away from methods that gain you xp, your bots can last for months.

 

I would say my bots on average get banned @ 20-50m xp, I've had one go up to about 175m before it got banned.

I botted nearly 70m exp before my account got 2-day'd. Just depends on your botting habits and luck.

 

I ran a very large botfarm on DarkScape for a couple months. At one point my accounts were being banned once a day. Automating the account creation, navigation to the botting locations, and muling were essential towards being able to continue goldfarming. Otherwise, I would have to spend hours each day setting my bots up. Because I programmed my own bots, I was able to survive while many other goldfarmers were wiped out and/or dropped out of the market due to lack of profit. Thus, if you truly want to take goldfarming to the next level you'll need some programming experience.

 

Shoot, thats crazy. I have next to ZERO skills in programming and honestly, I am terrible at that type of stuff. I dont intend to bot to sell the gold generated. I just want to use it to utilize for my mains.
I dont know what a "Successful" bot farm makes, I would anticipate a good margin would be probably what? 2-3K a month USD, if that.

So for the amount of time it would take to learn how to program, 2K a month isnt worth it. I make a good income, so thats not much what I want to bot for.

Used to have a farm with over 50-70 accounts running /day. Averaged 120k/hr and I'd run them in 6 hour intervals with a 2 hour break period after each interval. Script would run fully 3 times /day, and would be on constantly 24/7.

Each Bot would make about 1.9-2.1m/day, averaging just under 137m/day. Bot bans were actually rare, maybe 3 accounts per month. I'd make 4b /month across all bots, spending 250-285m on bonds to pay for membership. I was also spending 300-420m on supplies for the bots. I also stashed 250m, and staked with 500m on the side also. I was making 2.7b profit /month with my bot farm.

If I got lucky with staking, some months I could walk away with 5-9b profit. If I lost my stakes, I'd have to wait till next month, I'd never use the 250m stashed or the 2.7b.

It was rather fun.

Running a bot farm is not easy.
You will need a high starter cash to start.
I would recommend investing in Private scripts and using good platforms like tribot.
