Question about selling accounts.

Hello every, Im fairly new just getting back into OSRS about a week ago and also just finding this site around the same time but im thinking about selling skiller accounts or low/medium level "main" accounts as I actually like grinding in the lower levels. ive never sold RS accounts before publicly ( i have only power leveled friends accs using their information), as the only virtual selling/buying i did before was CSGO related items.

So my question is how do sellers go about selling accounts?

Do they just make random emails to use as well as username/pw and then give that information to buyers and have them change it? If so im guessing I would just have to make a bunch of random emails and such and also put in random usernames?

Also if you have Any tips for selling accounts that would be appreciated, and sorry if this type of post isnt allowed in this section didnt know where else to put it

When selling accounts, usually you make the email/account ect. You train the stats and then give them the email+all needed information.

However, the account market is full of scammers so it is difficult to sell nice accounts without substantial feedback.

 

Thanks I'll move my question and I've figured feedback would be a thing to note at the start as it was the same way with my csgo trading, I guess I would just have to put out some decent skillers for a cheap price to get some buyers and trust with them

 

Create an email (outlook.com works well) for every account, verify the email obviously and make sure you write down the email username/password, this way you can sell the account packaged with the email account. This helps buy the buyers mind at ease, if you can you should also write down the recovery question and answer for the selling, best way to keep this all organized is a simple .txt file for each account you create.

You've said your going to be making the accounts by hand, straight away due to your low post count, most users will doubt that and suspect you'll use automation software to level the accounts up. I suppose you could use RSBuddy to take a screenshot off every level you gain on the account and compress that into a file for the buyer.

If your going to bother making the account a member, use a 14-day in-game bond to buy the membership. Thinking about it, for main accounts i would recommend doing this. Then you can complete all of the quick easy quests to get some quick levels and this all also add value too the account, if you can be bothered todo the longer quests then again, that'll add too the value of the account quite abit.

As for gaining trust, yeah you've got the right idea sell some accounts a bit under priced to gain some vouches, it makes sense. A suggestion would be too offer to go first too other members who are trusted, verify who they are and they're vouches. After a few positive trades you'll find things get easier

 

You should consider opening a skilling service instead. Many people will not even consider buying a runescape account if the seller is not established on-site.

Does anyone have experience with PlayAuctions? Seen mixed reviews about it

 

Also advice on emails to use for accounts looking to be sold? Does it matter what emails I use? ie if I use throw away emails like 10minutemail as buyer would just change email anyways? Also people have said you dont have to verify emails but it says in emails that you have to within 7 days or is that just to try and get you to verify?
