I personally would not like to cry myself to sleep each night shaking with grey hair from the stress of staking my living.

 

The losses are nothing compared to the wins. That is the whole point of it. These guys doing 10b stakes will split it with multiple people to reduce the risk, what you are left with is a couple k in risk while always having the % on your side. If you stick to 10-200m stakes too the risk is much lower while still maintaining a lare profit. Although you have a point that losing even 2b would ruin your week, I do not think it is as risky as you think.

Saying "if you are still in the green" makes me think you do not understand what is going on with these stakes, although I may be wrong. The chance that wolf would ever end up in the negative is statistically low due to how he is staking, I doubt it would be a question of if he is in the green, but by how much since the start of his staking career.

Ur other statement is fair, but typically no longer works later in life when ur losing amounts of money that can send ur kids to college >.>.


It might not cost u now if u don't care, but at some point it will.


Sorry for being a debby downer, I'm actually quite happy for you and your wins lol, I just disagree with gambling because I had and still do have a problem with it, so anytime anyone gambles It kind of wounds me lol, I've lost more money than I care to admit to.


But hey I hope I'm wrong and you have a successful staking career .

 

It is an investment (of time), if its in his odds, he will win more in the long term

 

But that's not true from a business standpoint, the odds don't always play out lol.


If I put a routlette wheel out with 1,000 spots, and I give myself 550 of those spaces as win spots and 450 as lose spots, I could still lose 450 times and go bankrupt and I could of spent 2 weeks doing so.


Just because odds are in ur favor doesn't mean its in investment- no matter how much time u put in, u cant view gambling as an investment lol- there is always that risk of losing in odds staking.


I understand what I'm saying might be unlikely- but its still possible which means u cant view gambling as investing.

I suppose it all depends on what ur definition of "investing" is, I obviously have a different one then you but I suppose u can consider gambling as "high risk investments" if u want to ;p.
