Divine Spirit Shield

Whats up guys? I took a two or three year break from RS, was looking at the drop table for Corp and I cant find anything about Divine.
Did they take this spirit shield away?
This is for OSRS obviously.

Divine spirit shield never passed a poll, hence there is non in OSRS

 

Interesting, what was the reasoning behind this?

 

I swear they said something about re polling it in a live stream?

 

Interesting, I wonder what would happen to ely price if Divine was brought into the game. I anticipate ely would drop drastically.

 

It's sadly not here anymore.. i wish it was in 07.

 

Divine was great. But I hope they will bring out D claws before they start repolling divine.

 

Claws were also taken away due to being OP?

 

Something like that I'm guessing. Korasi, claws and Divine. Items that are quick and accurate which have been abused heavily in the past.

 

Damn. I understand the reasoning, and I suppose I can be the positive sides of both.

 

Claws were polled multiple times if I recall correctly, and they never passed.

 

Claws will be out soon enough. They added them to the tourny worlds, and I am pretty sure they will pass next time they get polled.

 

How often are they running polls? Is it once a week?

 

There are usually new polls running every few weeks or so. Jagex has also had one "near miss" poll (and has additionally repolled select questions where relevant, like being able to return to Ape Atoll without accepting the xp reward) where they have re-asked questions that were very close to passing (70+%), if they felt that player opinion has changed, or if the original polling was flawed. Now that they've added the abstain option, we'll probably see another near miss poll with quite a few questions pretty soon.

People thought that it was polled unfairly and that there should have been a single question for a nerfed version, but I still don't think it would have passed or will pass a repoll (even though I want it in game).

 

Where was thw break/point where they decided that it shouldnt be introduced back into OSRS?
Based off that poll, like you said, it should have been a single question.
No where within the poll does it seem like they arent introducing it back into the game.

 

A question needs 75% or more yes votes to pass, but they usually take a second look at questions that fail with ~70% or more.

 

I know it's off-topic but i'm very surprised with Jagex. I recently came back to runescape as a whole and seeing them so involved in what the community wants is amazing to see.

It all makes sense now. Does Ely have the same bonuses it did/does in RS3?

It is pretty great tbh. Glad to see that there are a lot of improvements to the game.
I love how they have Bh, Regular wildy & PVP all available in OSRS.
