yeah I heard about this from one of my roommates! I honestly don't know if this is true or not. I don't think it's something he would do. Not after that loss.

You wouldn't last 13 secs with me in the ring nvm Diaz. And regarding Mcgregor I think someone said that its either hes retiring for good or that he would have failed a drugs test so decided to pull out.

 

Keep in mind there are no bad fighters in the UFC, they are all professional athletes and wouldn't get to that level if they were shit. Same goes with any professional athletes they've all got bad days and especially in MMA no matter how good you are it just takes one mistake and you're done, I speak from personal experience. MMA is like a game of chess, you're trying to outsmart your opponent and take advantage of the mistakes your opponent does.

 

To be honest, it seems to me that he'd be in perfect shape to retire.

He's made huge money off of endorsements and the huge fights/made a HUGE rep for himself, wouldn't be surprised if he didn't retire now and have fun with his life.

yep, he has banked close 20m for UFC fights alone not mentioning the money from sponsorships. He'll probably get into movies like Ronda rousey.

 

UPDATE: Connor McGregor retracted his statement saying that he is ready for his fight. I called it. He was doing this for publicity.
