about account selling?

i got a question regarding selling some runescape accounts. So i have a bunch of accounts that i would like to sell, but i am not the original owner of any of em. Some i bought like 3 years ago and some i bought like 3 weeks ago. Obviously a pretty big range. Now im curious about what exactly the rules and my responsibilities are for selling. Say i sell an account i have had for 3 years with zero problems, i dont forsee a buyer having any issue with the account however if he does i cant help him much cuz i didnt create it and the original owner has long long long left the game.... Now what if a buyer has an account i sell to him for a year and then he decides to fake it getting recovered and change the email himself to one he creates so he can get the account and a refund as i cant recover accounts.... What is protecting me as a seller?

 

You're required to pay them back if you aren't able to unlock/recover it. It's up to you as the seller to keep their accounts safe. Even if they fake it, as you can't recover it to give it back to them, you'll have to refund. I doubt they'll do exactly that unless you stupidly specifically tell them that you can't recover it back.

 

Pretty simple way to remember how it works here on sythe "You can't sell something to someone then take no responsibility for it ."

 

You can not sell something if you do not assume the whole responsability in any case of recovery or lock. That's it.
