Anything more than a disqualification from that specific event (at the discretion of Lean) and a warning seems excessive.

Nevertheless upon being questioned Lean said he was fine with the botting on the competition. When it became a problem, it was addressed and is back to it's pre-botted state.

If it becomes a recurring problem it could be potentially addressed in the form of a rule prohibiting use of auto bumpers being used in competitions but I'd like to think people will be able to see that it's entirely possible to take things too far. It's not that big of a deal and was handled swiftly.
