Its just a graphic glitch. Happened to me before. If you just log out and log back in, it usually goes away.

it goes away when you die to i know because im always staking and stuff at the dueling arena so if your stuck in this glitch challenge some noob and let the kill you

Usually happens with guards

 

Thats happened to me about 3 times when i've been training on guards at varrock castle, pretty funny accually.

The guy dissapears or is far away, that's the glitch. He is actually right next to him though.

 

yeah I think this guy is the only one who watched it lol. Me and my friend was trying out somethings while reading some stuff on tainted-ones. So I'm at duel arena, I see this guy walking around (while he is in the dead position) and then I offer him a duel. So It begins, I attack him. I notice that it looks like i'm not attacking anyone at the begining. Looks really awesome lol, then in the distance you see the guy who is still in the dead position. Wasn't really cheating, but an awesome glitch.

 

Its not REALLY a bug abuse I seen many people in that form, I think your comp laggs sometimes
