"Religious" isn't really a genre of music, it's more of a sub-genre, eg. Christian Rap, Christian Rock, etc. You can't class a style of music on just what the lyrics of the songs mean.

but then, rock is created originally by black people. Most music is invented by the Black People (Blues -> Rap -> Rock -> Metal) Just look at Jimi Henrix or BB King. Both were awesome rock bands.

Oh, and as an answer to the question: Rock (Heavy, Death, Thrash, Black, Power, Speed Metal)

Sorry, but rap isn't music, so by default every other genre wins.

    Not music lmao!

    Main Entry: mu·sic
    Pronunciation: 'myü-zik
    Function: noun
    Usage: often attributive
Etymology: Middle English musik, from Anglo-French musike, from Latin musica, from Greek mousikE any art presided over by the Muses, especially music, from feminine of mousikos of the Muses, from Mousa Muse
1 a : the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity b : vocal, instrumental, or mechanical sounds having rhythm, melody, or harmony
    2 a : an agreeable sound : EUPHONY <her voice was music to my ears> b : musical quality <the music of verse>
    3 : a musical accompaniment <a play set to music>
4 : the score of a musical composition set down on paper
5 : a distinctive type or category of music <there is a music for everybody -- Eric Salzman>

Just because you don't like it doesn't make it not music.

rock \metal all the way , all rap is , is the same shit over and over , there "rap" lyrics nowadays are pathetic , ends up taking no talent , and i hate these morons nowadays when you say that rap sucks there like "nah man you gotta listen to the underground shit" then name off some mainstream garbage like that d's song , and that 36 mafia garbage , its pathetic. atleast rock and metal take some insturmental skill ( ska and metal taking more talent then any other genre i know of.)

ok first off , all shitty rap , if your gonna get some decent rap dont pick mainstream shit , eminems a fag , d12 is just as bad , and the rest of the "artists " (if you can consider them that ) are all mainstream garbage that says the same shit over n over you may call it talent but i call it retardation.

ok first off bb king was not rock it was blues , although blues was one of the foundations of rock it is not rock nor did it only support it , so null and void
( not to mention not that good in my opinion lots better blues out there )
second , hendrix was only famous for his insane guitar skills , i do give him mad props for being a guitar player but thats it , and your naming off only 2 people? hendix was one of the only black\african american (what ever you wanna say) that had talent other than the singer from sevendust that is all that i have heard and consider talented.

so what i am saying exactly , is that your trying to make your point by backing up 2 people (one of which is not rock ) and is only half the foundation for rock\metal , if you think you can name some good rock bands that even have one (black\etc. refer to above) artist in it , and if you say the chick from that shitty metal band ur a moron (cant think of the name) , if you say meatloaf you have very shitty taste in music , and if you say blockparty your a moron because that i wouldnt even consider rock its like pop shit , and is not good.

so please if you can prove me wrong by all means.
