Looking to make a god mage pure

Yeah so I wanted to make a pure but I want to do it right and I have a few questions


I want to get 85 magic for teleblock and get flames of zamorak and go pking but

A) Should I get mithril gloves?
B)Should I do horror from the deep?

And can I raise attack/strength levels to use smoke battlestaff or would that ruin the account? I don't believe it gives me combat levels though

Or if you know of a guide you can just link it here, thanks

Book of darkness seems pretty good as well. Thanks for the tips

 

Made a few of these accounts.
1. Yes mithril gloves will be a nice thing to get out of the way.
2. This is crucial, just remember to do Digsite also for book of darkness. Melee train with Unholy book if you can afford it.
3. Yes, if you stop at 81 magic, and use mage pot to Teleblock, you can get 120 attack/str combined. So if you want to use Staff of the dead, get 75 attack 45 str. If you want to use granite maul, 50 attack 70 str.

Also you should keep in mind you should stay 1 prayer, and keep your HP low (do not train range unless you cannon it). Also if you are going to be Staff of the Dead pure, I'd recommend doing Monkey Madness to train with d scim from 60-70.

 

Thanks very helpful, but one point is that I think they reverted the need for dig site I for book of darkness. According to wiki anyways, I think you just need to do horror from the deep to obtain it
