I've been playing runescape on and off for several years now, but I don't have enough interest and motivation to keep playing anymore. So I'm looking to sell my account. A few things
* You just joined up and first thing youre selling is an account for around $60
The price is fine but I'm a bit cautious, I'm sure you understand why..
* No paypal
I'll pay your price but you'll need to set up a paypal, I don't feel like getting scammed today..
* Empty bank
While this doesnt matter to me because I've got my own things so I dont care what so ever about whats in the bank, I'm suspicious as to why the bank has been cleaned out of almost all of its items if it's a main.
* Could you possibly get someone of significance in the sythe community, maybe a mod or someone with a rep to back you up and say you're legit.

I don't mean to be a dick but I'm a bit skeptical (trust issues with things like this), and it doesnt seem much to ask for, in return you can be sure of a quick and smooth sale..

-This is my first time doing this heard about it via a friend, so obviously I only recently joined and immediatly put my acc up for sale. I'm not gonna have vouches, hence the price, idk what exactly is a proper price.
-I've had huge issues using paypal in the past, so I prefer not to use it, so sorry for you.
-I sold all my items and sold off the gp to a wholesaler a while ago, because it was way easier and faster than selling an account.
-As you just mentioned I'm new so idk how you expect someone in the community to vouch for me. If not for using a middleman, I don't understand how you expect first timers to be able to make a sale

Yeah that all makes sense, thanks for answering.
I could probably paypal direct to a bank account, gives me peace of mind and goes straight into your bank I think pp clears straight away, I've never really tried but eh.
Get back to me if you're keen, I might be I'm not 100% yet.

 

Thing is with newcomers, if you give them gp, they can recover account/run with money.

If you use paypal, you can get your money back if they recover.

If someone chargebacks with paypal you can just recover the account...

 

Yeah, but say there is a lot gp on the acc, said buyer could just transfer the gp to a different acc and chargeback on PayPal. I guess there is always some risk involved.
