Anyone here graduated with a BS degree in Nursing? Need help.

I am confused because this will be the 3rd time I am going to shift into another program and it will be Marketing Mgmt., I know a few things about it too but my preferred program is Physical Therapy but my university doesn't offer it, only Nursing, Medical Technology and Pharmacy.

Now I think I can be a Physical Therapist too by choosing one of these health sciences program but not really sure which so I am asking here at least my question will be answered directly. Do you think I could be a physical therapist too even if I graduated with Marketing Mgmt. for example but maybe there is something that I need to do to be eligible to be a Physical Therapist?

I'm confused. I can't just shift to Physical Therapist anyway even though it just sounds easy because there will be no college freshmen in the next school year since our government just implemented a new curriculum. I live in the Philippines, before this was implemented, there is only 4 years in high school, 11 & 12 grade doesn't exist, so basically if I shift to Physical Therapist, I would be an irregular and I will miss some of the freshmen classes which means it would take me longer to graduate.

I am very depressed with this, I need help.

go for your dreams buddy, im a plumber however i decided that it wasnt for me so now im doing several courses to qualify for petroleum engineering or pretty much what i want as if I can meet the requirements for petroleum engineering i can almost get into anything.

 

Yeah, I'd say go follow your dreams. I am also from the philippines, BS Psychology major, and if your problem is not graduating on time. It's fine as long as you finish your course and just go and do what you really want to do.

 

Depends on the advisors, in all honesty a comprehensive search online can oftentimes yield better results than speaking to someone with a secondary education degree fresh out of college.

The advisors at both the universities I went to were utter garbage, and most of the information I hold today was churned on various forums and reading people's experiences and anecdotes. I'd say that a school advisor can get you a basic understanding of your career path and goals, but nothing past that.

EDIT: OP, none of the options listed are good choices if you wish to pursue a career in PT. Although they are healthcare related, each of the degree options are different forks in the road. Although some experiences may overlap (research positions, etc), you're better off finding a legitimate PT program.

If you're adamant about PT (which I highly recommend you look into further to solidify your decision), then graduating a year or two late far outweighs pursuing another career option that you dread.
