I would like this pin because my mum MADE me quit members and i have all this stuff in my bank i need to sell. I think i would be best for the pin because I Play lots so i will make best use of it. And i have been trying to help people on the forums. I bet other people deserve it more than me but i would REALLY Appreciate it if you could donate it to me.

Why did you start playing RuneScape?: I started because I've got a referal from my friend, he suggested that it would be fun.

Why do you still play RuneScape?: Its addicting for some reason. My resolution was to quit, though since the release of new items, such as 3rd age, whips, barrows, and 99 capes, I've gotten addicted again.

What are your opinions of Jagex?: I think that the Jagex team is a full 24 hour team that works non-stop but takes breaks and shifts. They try there best to regulate runescape, though they seem to have a sense of humor. In which I find very pleasant.

How many times have you been a RuneScape member?: Well overall about 18 times, on this account only once.

Have you ever been blackmarked in RuneScape (If yes, why?): Yes, I've been blackmarked for having an offensive user name, item scamming, real world trading, password scamming, and offensive languages.

I think I deserve this SMS pin because I'm never lucky on runescape, though If I am lucky sometimes it just turns out that the luck was a fluke. Heres what happened, I had an account named "Program_Auto" It was legendary. Had 2 previous memberships and had 90+ woodcutting, 70+ firemaking, 99 fletching, and minning and smithing in the 70s. Turns out this dude was having a drop party. (Found ad on the RSB forums) He was going to drop his santa. So I attended it, and guess what? I got the santa! Though a week later, I've got reported for having an offensive user name. (Thats when runescape remodified the rules) Now I've lost Santa, and the prices have gone higher. I'm really unlucky, though this free membership could mean alot to me. So I beg you please, PLEASE, may I have this free SMS pin. It would mean the world world If I won this contest. Just this one time, maybe I could have a stroke of luck again.

Why do you feel you deserve this free membership pin? (250+ words):Well, I've played runescape for a looong time. I think it is fun, entertaining, and a good way to get away from problems in life and chat with friends. My membership recently expired, along with my credit card, so I'm stuck in my clothes. I've done a lot with this character: 188 quest points, all f2p done, dt done, mm done, lost city, heroes legends ect ect. I was also planning on getting 70 attack for a whip, but O NOES! it expired at 69. I planned on having this as a pure, but made it into a main with 48/60 defense. I'd really love it if I could have this SMS pin :/. Runescape provides ways to interact with people that you can't in real life, such as abbreviations (Try saying 'lol' or 'brb' to someone in real life! They will tell you to get a life!) or IMing.

What are your opinions of Jagex?:There is not much to say about them,if you play by the rules you will not get banned.They only start to be annoying if they catch you breaking the rules.

Why do you feel you deserve this free membership pin?Because i will actualy use it.I think other people will sell it because they already have member days on there accounts.Its hard for me to train a pure in free worlds.No rock crabs or experiments to kill.The best thing i can train on in F2P is Monks...If i recieved that free pin it would speed up my training 10 fold literaly.And pking in F2P is not all that fun either.Ok ill kill a ranger or 2 and then i would get bored.But if i was a member i would never get bored of pking and if i would get bored i would just go to world 18 and start looting.And i play runescape almost everyday so the days will never go to waste.

Well, firstly, let me say thank you to all of those who posted in competition. Without you, this would have been nothing. I am very pleased with the out come of participants in this event, and can only hope for the same turnout next time I host one of these on Zamorak.org.

But enough of that.

I sat deliberating who should be the winner for 2 hours, and it took a while to come to a conclusion. After removing the automatically disqualified (Ie. People who edited their posts, or had less than 250 words) it came down to FOUR finalists. As such, I went through and read each of their applications. Most of their reasons why they deserved it were FANTASTIC, however, two of them had been infracted on Sythe, and as such they were eliminated.

Then it came down to the FINAL 2. I was having such a hard time deciding who should win, when I realized I had made a mistake. One of the finalists had 2 words less than the required. AND THEY WERE SO EQUAL. Both of their reasons were well presented, they were perfect candidates, but I believe only one TRULY deserves this contest's pin....
