auto ban for rwt

hey guys,

earlier this week i got perm banned after pking 95m cash on my lvl 70 pure.

Does this happen often? Is rwting even safe anymore(relatively)? Because the sole reason I got back into RS was to sell my geepee :3

 

but others say using a vpn is kinda dumb since it often results in a ban simply because you use a vpn?

 

Most free vpns are flagged, use a VPS and you'll be fine

 

You're safest using a home IP, and multiple accounts that you actually do play on

 

A vpn or vps doesnt help really, like dunworry said using your home ip is the best bet and even if the account you sold gold on gets banned the others wont. This is based on experience and I have traded over 100B 07

 

just dont trade the chinese in my personal opinion. good rates but high ban rates

What happened to me is that I got automatically banned even though I have not yet rwted (planning to, but need more bank first).

Did the system just scan my acc and see an assload of "transactions" (ranging from 500k to 100m) and therefore decided to ban me?

 

Just use a throw away account on a relatively clean proxy/vpn/vps. Many people use intricate methods of transferring gold from account to account. In my experience, these methods are more placebo and simply trading your gp for a bronze long sword would suffice.

 

Honestly, think you were just unlucky. I've bought/sold a lot of gold and I've never been banned nor has anyone I've bought or sold to (that I've heard of)

To be safe, I'd usually drop trade or stake.

 

Not to sure what you mean you got banned for pking 75m? Wait so did you actually try sell it then get banned?

 

Were you banned before you sold any gold? If so, you could always try and get the account back by appealing to a Mod on Twitter? If you got banned post selling gold then you just got unlucky, as RWT bans are few and far between

 

as other people have said, you were probably unlucky. I have traded many bills and not a single ban, also traded many accounts with no bans. I have also heard that trading chinese gold sellers do increase the ban rate - ie there were a few threads some time back about people buying bulk gold from the chinese and then getting perm banned. Many of the suggestions were to use people like divica to buy and sell gold. but it is kind of unheard of really tbh, last time i talked to divica they said they only get banned very occasionally and they have accounts where they trade gold everyday that are lasting over 6 months. I guess you got unlucky/

I personally wouldn't use a VPN/VPS, as people have said vpns increase ban rates (at least ones that are free) and as i haven't gotten the ban hammer with my home IP then why would i try a VPS?

 

Good rates? Where you buy your gold from?

 

I literally bought gold on a level 3 fresh account the other day. Nothing happened.

 

I am also wondering any Chinese websites where they sell cheap 07 gold ?

 

Buying gold hardly ever gets you a ban
