Kanye TLOP

I think you got that backwards dude, Kanye is always pushing into different boundaries and this album is no different.. Yeezus. MBDTF. WTT. 808s. Graduation. All did new things and killed it.

808s got the literally the same reception when it came out. Same with Yeezus. Everyone keeps trying to say Ye has fallen off but in reality he keeps coming up with the quality.

 

Yeah I can get someone saying they're not a fan of the album but saying it isn't pushing boundaries is insanity, did you even listen to the album?

I'm with you loyal, it's going to see a lot of listening for me. What I've done with my version is I've combined Stretch My Hands Pt 1 & 2 together to form one track (always love hearing them consecutively), have replaced the album version of 30 Hours with the single version (still has a bit of an outro but without the talking over it and no where near as long) and have replaced wolves with a version that's been chopped together with sia & vic in it, kanye's verse and the frank outro for 4 and a half minutes total. There's a version with the HD verses from Sia & Vic but it's like 6 and a half minutes long, just too long for my taste. I might honestly try splice up my own creation since no version of Wolves that I've heard is quite right unfortunately.

the A cappella song speaks volumes about his musical talent. Not an easy thing to do at all.

 

Way late but the more I listen to this Chance verse the better I think it is. He fucking kills it, he's gonna blow up lol. Best verse on the album, what do you guys think? The Feedback verse is pretty good too, lyrically I think that's his best track on TLOP.

If you're only referring to Chance on that shit, you've got him wrong. Listen to Acid Rap all the way through. Chance is one of the only rappers killing it today along with J. Cole, Kendrick, Yeezy, etc.

I've seen Kanye West, and Chance the same night at Bonnaroo Music and Arts fest (8 year veteran) and honestly, nothing was more hype than Chance's set. Kanye was great, but so bipolar it seemed unpleasant. Nothing like dropping Acid and watching Acid rap live.

TLOP is great, however Kanye has overhyped the album. I believe he did an amazing job with the features, but the first few tracks are great, the middle is so-so (I feel as if they're track fillers) and the end seems to go hard. Overall, it's average for Kanye. It's still better than Yeezus ^_^ .
