I should probably quit gambling now.

I've had a hard time stopping myself from staking away all my Oldschool GP. I've bought close to 200m over the past few months and have lost all of it.

What happens is I go up a lot and then make dumb decisions like a lot of people who gamble too much out there.

Honestly I'd use that cash to invest into something else safe and efficient. Trust me, and you probably already know from the first part, nothing feels shittier than losing a ton on gambling.

This is the worst addiction to have IMO. Goes straight to the bankrupt part.

This sentence in itself is extremely red flags. If you keep up at the rate you are you won't be well off in 3 years I can promise you that. Seek some help.

If you're going to be gambling at least learn some hold'em or something to play live cash games at the casinos, less house edge and more mentally stimulating in my opinion.

I promise you the winnings will go on the downhill spiral you'll feel a lot better with $50,000 then 0.

Stop while you're ahead, my friend. It isn't worth it in the long run.

Gambling on any level for the average Joe is a shit vicious cycle in my own opinion. As long as its just for fun and your not throwing money you cant afford I don't see the harm though..

One thing I learned about gambling is you will adopt the mentality of "enough is never enough" as you progress further with your winnings. I remember back in 2011 or 2012 I was up 3b staking (at the time, this was a fuck load), I could buy any item in the game and every item I would need at the time, but there was always a voice in my subconscious saying "if you stake this, you can have this", thus leading to me eventually losing everything. I haven't gambled in a year and I don't plan on gambling again.

Gambling will always end up bringing you to the ground, dirt poor. You're definitely right about quitting :)

As everyone else has said, quit while you're ahead. Cash out everything you have and invest it in something, particularly your education. In 10 years, a degree and stable job will be well worth it.

Look for some professional help if you're actually trying to kick this addiction, gambling addiction is a genuine sickness. Good luck, and I hope it turns out for you!
