Trying to get back into 07 and I feel like I have to finally train farming. I have only ever done it to 27 so I have no idea how to train it after that and I can't find anything online to help me. So, what's the best methods to train farming? Right now I only want to get to 49 so I can do Fairytale PT 2. But I might go further in the future. If anyone can help this poor soul out that would be gr8.

The best way to train farming is pretty straightforward - just plant the highest level trees/fruit trees you can with herb/allotment runs in between. It gets slightly more complicated when you take farming ticks and growth cycles into consideration to ensure that your patches are be done growing on time, but you should only really worry about those when you are looking towards higher levels and/or you start doing regular herb runs. Just know that randomly logging in or out can delay the growth of your patches (for more information, you can check out these links: https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/2v7ucy/what_the_heck_is_a_farm_tick/ for an overview and http://www.indecentcode.com/farmclock/ for a farming clock).

Personally I've only ever done trees and fruit trees and the occasional herb run to recoup some of my losses, but at the lower levels you might also find allotment farming worthwhile.

Plant the highest tree/fruit tree you can, pay to protect them to make sure they grow. Check/replant every day. Your farming will go up very quickly. You can do more than once per day if you're timing your growth cycles but assuming you're not, just once a day you'll be 49 in no time.

Best eway to train farming for profit is with limpwurts and herbs, also plant watermellons if you are able, then just do fruit trees and normal trees whenever you can

Farming is fun, It may seem like bit of a hassle at first to get started with crops dying often and such If you forget to protect them, but it is a mindless skill you can get exp in while doing other things in runescape which makes it great.

Just keep planting the highest you can!
