Mission/Intro
The purpose of the forums will be mainly to focus on the exchanging on virtual goods, similar to sythe. My approach will be pretty much similar to other forums with different styles of marketing but nothing unique, sad to say unless I think of something. I don't expect this project to blow up and be a big hit after 1 month but I will focus on building it into something great within the next 2 years. Money does interest me but I'll focus mainly on doing what's best for the future of the site and what pleases the community.

I do have a job IRL so funding the site will never be a problem.

I understand some of you may not know much but I am willing to share with you what I know and hopefully you can share with me what you know. Even if you aren't applying feel free to email me [email protected]

What roles I am looking for:
Social media marketing manager
- Managing social media profiles
- Posting daily existing content and creating new content to be posted
- Coming up with new ideas to promote and advertise through Social media
- Attending discussions and giving input
- Being active on the forums as a moderator

Content creator
- Creating content to be posted on forums on a day to day basis(e.g. news, announcements)
- Creating new content to be used for front-end site(e.g. forum board names and little things)
- Posting daily interesting and unique topics on the forums
- Attending discussions and giving input
- Being active on the forums as a moderator

Graphic designer
- Creating visual designs for the site such as logos, banners and so on
- Giving input on how the site should look and what images to use for threads, homepage and so on
- Attending discussions and giving input
- Being active on the forums as a moderator

Global moderator
- Handling reports from members of the forums
- Handling disputes and approving threads in certain boards
- Helping members
- Attending discussions and giving input
- Moderation of the forums in general

is this not the forum that kept being hacked due to poor security?(boy my memory is old on this).

Thanks and he told me someone did a SQL injection on the site because he didn't use prepared statements and parameterized queries. Which are SQL statements that will be sent to and parsed by the database server separately from any parameters. Therefore, it's impossible for an attacker to inject malicious SQL. I'm no security guy but I have developed applications with teams of 5 or more people and know how to secure a website + "I have someone who I know in real life who has 10 years experience in security to assist me to protect the site.
