Is the Bunny Hopping in the beginning legit or fake?

I asked my friends and most of them said he wasn't legit but we're all around gold nova so I need an answer from a more experienced player.

It looks legit, going at that speed with bhopping is possible. I don't know tho, might be fake too.

 

it looks very legit to me, I have actually gone faster than that on inferno map, I was bhopping down banana with my awp but it was luck. I'm a global elite if that matters.

 

Well, can't really say. It is possible to BHop at that speed but his air straffes are weak, it's possible he just got a lucky streak. I've gone a lot faster than that anyway, and it's quite easy to BHop down CAT/CATWALK. I will say though, that I've seen a lot of scripters BHop similar to him. I didn't think anyone in Nova would spend time learning to BHop also.. I only started learning how to BHop/Surf when I reached SMFC because I felt my movement was terrible.

 

It is of course possible to bhop that quick but he does seem to be a little bit inexperience just by looking at how he strafes, anyone that knows how to bhop knows the most efficient way is to land the 2nd jump in line with your first and so on. He seems to strafe to the right and not straighten himself up to land back in line with his jumps so i would say either he got lucky and landed these bhops and that no scope or he has a script. Personally would say he is scripting

edit: after watching the video a few times I am convinced he is hacking, his positioning is very poor and he had some very fishy plays (the awp wallbangs on mirage and when he throws the grenade into apartments entrance on inferno, he could have known about the guy in apartments because of team info but still seems fishy to me.)

I watched the video also how can you say you are convinced that he is hacking, I really don't see anything fishy at all, mirage wallbang he seen the guy already anyways so why not shoot. Apartments could of have been a call or jsut right timing, if he was walling he wouldn't pull out a nade like that, he would just wait he had an awp.

 

Bunnyhopping isn't that hard to learn and that looks legit.

Because of his strafes and the way he played in the rest of the video, i'd say its not a bunnyhop script but a auto-hotkey. If you dont know what an ahk is, it's simply spamming the +jump button for him so he basically just jumps around with perfect jumps. Gaining speed or maintaining it is obviously way easier even though he probably has minimal knowledge in bhopping.

Yeah it's real, I've done much better, but they fucked bhopping in CS:GO with their new system.

I think it is legit. Honestly he probably just got really lucky bhopping like that lol, but yes it is VERY possible to do it.

 

i've chained 6 hops on MM servers before, and i still actively partake in bhop servers, is it easy on MM? No. Is it consistent to do them back to back? no. It's most likely legit and it could be that 1 in 100 scenarios when he gets it.

even with scripts bhoping on 64tick is a pita.

 

Those bhops were legit. Not fast but very lucky he chained those.
