07 F2P botting impossible?

So, I've tried several times now to start up small bot farms, like 5 bots at a time, botting in F2P some shit like picking cowhides, killing chickens, basic stuff very bot-like I know, always using either osbot or topbot free scripts.

The thing is, out of like 30 accounts not even one managed to reach the 24h trade limit. A year ago or so this was not the case, yes F2P basic scripts did also get you banned fast but not THIS fast.

Also, I changed IP's inbetween my tries, so it's not because of the flagged IP.

My question is, is botting in 07 for profit impossible now? Is it because of the basic scripts? Not having proxys? Being F2P? Or is it just impossible overall?

 

Whatever methods Jagex uses to detect botting has probably become automated for the most common bots, which would be the free ones. I run 5-7 bots doing cannonballs in p2p with a $7 script and haven't had any bans as of yet. I run my bots for around 3-4 hours a day, skipping some days altogether.

 

I tried a tribot wc script on a fresh level 3 in f2p and was banned within a few hrs

 

F2P has much higher ban rates than P2P and doing common methods that have been abused since f2p's launch with scripts that are also way too saturated with users can't help. Also your proxy could be flagged prior to you ever using it, if it's been used on RS before, so maybe don't discount the idea that it could be flagged

 

Well yes that would be an option, but 3-4 hours a day isn't profitable at all, or atleast won't make up for the time spent, possible chain bans, membership, etc etc

Not using a proxy but I understand what you're saying, I'm just gonna give it another go and run multiple accounts on different scripts and see which ones get the banhammer first

yeah i botted past 3 days 20 hours a day not on same accounts and just got hit with 40m on accs usually lasts 20 hours per 10 batch

 

Well, that's your issue then. Always use a proxy...

 

Impossible? No. But if you're botting any sort of stat that can be seen as gold farming (i.e. fishing, mining) you will more than likely receive a perm ban.

 

What's the difference between using a proxy or manually changing my IP myself?

 

If it is an f2p account that bots any of the most normal botting spots (fishing, wc, mining etc) with a free script you are most likely to receive a perm ban within a couple hours. My suggestion would be to invest in some bonds and a premium script. Will be worth it in the long run, considering the more people using the same script (free ones are used a lot) will make it much easier for jagex to recognize it.

 

Changing your IP would work but then all of your bots are on 1 IP. Proxies make chain ip bans less likely.
