Antiproxy script now in effect; IP bans hold

This is nice,

sadly this will only stop 1-5% scammers due to the fact most people have D IPs. Change ip in a switch.

 

I had that for like 3 seconds then went to sythe home page but i hope we can get rid of most of the scammers there so annoying..

Some of you are dumbnuts, this is exactly the thing THAT BLOCKS PEOPLE WHO CHANGE THEIR IP'S.

Cable users such as myself dont have the luxury of being able to change ip's as often. So in this case it has a strong effect.

I tried a proxy on it that usually isn't blocked on alot of websites..and you still found it

It DOES WORK. I tried an average proxy, and a good one not blocked at my school. They both dun work.

 

Yes! Go Sythe! We needed that, and your right, hopefully it WILL, for all of our sakes, stop the scammers! I've been scammed too many times to count...

 

Not only proxying scammers will be stopped but this potentiolly stops jagex from uncovering sythe.

Well, in the rules, unless they have changed extremely recently, posting a ban appeal on behalf of another is against rules. For the proxy thing, people with dynamic IPs, which is almost 90% of the people on the internet, can still get around this, unless their host is blocked, which is highly unlikely that it will happen because many people use the same host. Unless you've found a way to range ban and specified IP, which I've heard you never do anymore either, this only helps a small bit. Still, a good upgrade.
