As long as we don't sell the rights of the tutorials, we can still keep them here for Sythe users to use (not that they ever use them). The money will help User Eds create more guides with more quality.

    My opinion.

For good stuff, I can get you 13$ for a 500 word tutorial. If the guide really is top-notch, I think 15$ for a 500 word tutorial can be arranged. This means you're earning 2-3cents for every word you type. That's good money.

These tutorials can be about ANYTHING you want. I can't guarantee that it will be sold though. Guides like, how to jump on a skateboard are worthless and probably won't even go up for sale.

As for payment, you only get paid for the articles you written that have been sold. If we have a pot and share it equally, those who have made more guides and sold more could potentially make less. You could earn less if you don't make as good guides, but that's up to you.

Wow Sucks, if people don't write guides for MONEY, they as hell won't do it for free and I'll shut down user ed. People get lazy, so we demote them and bring new people in. There's always going to be someone who wants to make cash, I can guaratee that. User eds point is a to help people, true. But as of this moment they aren't doing anything with the guides we've made and they are going to waste. We only thought up of this idea because of that.

I think that all guides can be viewed by sythe users until they are sold. The person buying the tutorial will most likely not know where it comes from. When a guide is sold, I then delete the tutorial from sythe. Sure the sythe users lose guides, but they weren't really using them anyway. Since sythe himself would be earning cash for basically nothing, I don't see any problem. I have yet to talk to him.

As for paypal, that's the default payment system and the way all transactions are made on internet marketing sites. E-gold is a possibility, but less people are using it.

Well ok...thats a good idea "Take the guides off sythe when they are sold".

Well this could work. How much money would go to Sythe himself? and How much to you (Im thinking that you will want something out of it(Said that in as non-offensive way as possilbe))

I think possibly 20% off the retail price. 10 to sythe and 10 to me. If you guys have any major problems with that please tell me. It's not final yet.

I have no problem with that, you get 2 bucks for our $20 dollar guides, if they're really good.

And the ones about "jumping on a skate board".. on metacafe, some guy made 500 USD from views for how good of quality and helpful it was. That's pretty damn good, but computer guides can't be sold for money..

The reason I said make the guides private, is because no one views them except the user ed's anyways.. there may be those one or two, but hell... they can just apply for UE if they really wanna view them. If someone searches the guide in google, and finds it here... I just thought it may be a failsafe.

As to selling the person the rights.. I guess they won't sell as much unless you sell them the rights....Like Quality's C++ guide would sell for a LOT. And the other kind of guides can be made into movies to bring in more money.

No one is using the User Educators now, we need to step up because we're so under appreciated...

"There's so many UE's who bothers to list em"

Seriously, that's degrading. So if we're making cash, well cash is respect.

User Education has been closed to the outside for now. As for the jumping on a skateboard thing, I was talking about written guides. You can make any sort of video guide you want, but for the written ones, try to stick to the others.

Could the Dollars possibly be converted into pounds too?
You see, I'm english, and a pound is roughly 1.8 dollars.
So you say possibly 14$ a guide, woulden't that be 17 pounds?

I only have a paypal account with english currency...
Or when a transaction is made, is it automaticly converted?
