Vaping - where to start?

Hey sythe,

I've never purchased a vape before so I'm not really sure what to look out for when purchasing my very first vape.

My price range is 70-150 $

Any recommendations?

 

I'm not a vaping expert but you're likely going to want to get a "starter kit" to start off with. This will include the main body of the vape, the tank, and a charging cable/full charger.

You will also need to purchase a battery which usually run you around $10-$20 depending on where you buy/what you buy.

Especially at that price, it's a steal. All metal construction, nice solid tank, comes with a LONG charging cable, and it takes a mini-USB so if you have an android, you can just use that charger instead. It feels very significant when holding it.

I see in the description that it states "Min Atomizer Resistance: 0.1 ohm". What exactly is resistance and how does it effect the vaping experience? Do you want something with higher or lower resistance ?

edit: Also I see that the juice can be purchased in 0,3,6 or 12 mg.. is this mg of nicotine?

 

Coils have a certain resistance. A TLDR (and I'm sure someone will correct me/fix what I'm saying) is that the lower the resistance number, the more smoke it will produce.

It comes with a 1.8, a 1.2, and a .15 coil. I personally vape with a 1.2 ohm coil so you'll probably never need to go down below a .1 for any reason. It's just telling you the limit if you wanted to push it.

Also, the mg is the amount of nicotine in the juice

 

Lower resistance doesn't necessarily mean more vapor production.
