    Appeal - Youtube Shop

    Hello,

First and foremost, please forgive me if this thread has been placed in a less than appropriate section. I have never been restricted on Sythe and am not very familiar with how the appeal process works despite reading through the stickied threads located at the top of the section. To be more precise, my understanding of the difference between a pardon and dispute is a bit cloudy, but it is my intention to dispute the restriction placed on my account as I am no longer affiliated with Xhyalus/League Of Smurfs and have no been for many months.

    Link to/reason for TWC:

Reasoning/explanation for sketchy behaviour leading to TWC:

To my knowledge, League of Smurfs and its affiliates (including myself) have never used and never will use viruses for any purpose whatsoever. Our interest in a "mass spammer" for social media, however, was legitimate. We were interested in such a program so that we could effectively target social media users in order to increase conversions and spread awareness of our social media profiles. Spamming is globally frowned upon, but it is an often overused term. Our methodology would never have allowed for individuals to be spammed; instead, they would have been strategically targeted based on the meta data associated with their online presence. It is also worth mentioning that while our interest in social media marketing tool was legitimate, we decided that it would be best to increase conversions using other platforms.

In this case, Yousuckv2 simply did not have access to the context associated with the posts published in the images provided. For several months, League of Smurfs had been developing a method in which we could identify and extract usernames that could then be sold to the public. We had a running list in an excel sheet that was populated with usernames that were ready for the public to take ownership of at a cost. I will provide several images below as proof of this.

We were looking for a program that could effectively "scrape" usernames from databases and identify what names were available, and what names would be available at any given date. A perfect representation of this, and one that we used mostly, was http://leaguecenter.net/, but it was our thought that we needed something slightly more automated than what http://leaguecenter.net/ could provide. League of Smurfs has never participated in the hacking of League of Legends accounts, and as the only other individual in the company who was given clearance to preview the operation, I can definitevly say that they never will. The process used by the League of Smurfs team is much more efficient than could otherwise be done through blackhat methods like hacking.

Anything else you wish to say:

Please do note that I personally have not been a member of the League of Smurfs team for around 8 months now, so I cannot comment on any activities conducted between July, 2015 and the present day.
