    For sure, think he is doing it more for a SEO purpose though, as it gives him another backlink to his website = possible a higher rank on the search engine.

    Back to topic, I've been certified twice, came very handy in 2013 when an elderly lady collapsed while I was working and managed to save her. In the end the fee to get certified is so small that it's worth it, you never know when it will be useful but it's something worth knowing.
