Going to watch The Wire

I've heard PLENTY about this show, how it's the best TV show ever made etc etc.

For some reason it's never appealed to me until today. I watch video and now i want to binge watch it.

Has anyone watched The Wire before and care to share there thoughts about the show?

 

Its super good but the story sort of drags on for the first season when you reach the second one it gets alot better its one of those things you have to just stick through, great actors good range of characters and a general relatable plot

 

I've watched the first 2 seasons and it is definitely a good show. For some reason though I always watch in on and off. I'll lose interest for a while and then for some reason it will spark back up every now and then and I'll binge watch it lol

 

My parents tried to make me watch it with them when i was about 10-12 (not sure). But I didn't understand anything and stopped watching after 2 episodes.
