    Dear community,

I just RWTed with a very trusted gold selling site. Around a bill
I was wondering, if I buy - lets say a bill - again, how high are the chances of getting banned? I did the trade on my main account and I actually do fear a ban at this point. There probably wont be one but the feeling is still there.

    • Does it matter if I buy 1b tomorrow or in a few days or in a month? (what's the best option)

    • How high are the chances of getting banned? (probably a perm?)

    • How can I reduce the chances of getting banned?

I am quite in the dark on this subject since I don't know alot of it.

    Thank you all in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Simplemag

Buying gold is close to risk-free. I have had many maxed customers who buy their RS3 Gold from me in multiple occasions and they have never gotten banned.

You can reduce your chances of not getting banned by not buying from gold farmers and instead buy gold from sellers like me who gets their gold purely by playing the game. I think this makes a huge difference.

Runescape tend to target big-time sellers rather than buyers as the buyers are usually one offs and Jagex won't be removing much gold from the game targeting them.

You're safe to buy again in a few days just to keep a low profile.

I agree, huge big name gold sellers usually leave a trail, and most of the time, Jagex won't ban them outright, they'll follow them for awhile, keeping close eye where the gold goes and came from, then ban everyone who's had a major connection to that mule account.

Point: Buy from people who just flip/merch/boss/etc. Do not buy from people who bot, farm, etc. It's more high risk.

I've bought many times over last couple years on my main on rs3 never got banned. I think what's said above is right, that they don't target buyers mostly sellers.

You can reduce the chances of getting banned by adding in items when the gold seller puts the 1b in trade, also the chances of you getting banned are like 1/100 i'd say, it's pretty rare.

It's usually selling gold that results in permabans from what I've seen. Usually a lower rate of getting banned when buying, many people receive a 2 day to 2 week ban before getting perm'd

sellers are mostly targeted, but I guess best advice is don't buy too much at once too frequently
