If you already have the SRL, then click on the PowerSkills file only. Then click "Extract To" and put it where I said before.

Use Scar 2.03 to run it, not Scar Divi.

Think auto banking will get added to this? Would be nice to be able to make some money.

I was also wondering that if when the auto events come, will your char keep cutting, so (for example) the axe breaks, or will it turn away for a while? It would really be nice if your axe didn't break, so it would cut all night.

    Thanks!

Was very impressed, I never used an autominer before and this one seemed so smooth that I wanted it to stay and cut all night. (not that my mother would let me, but ok) Then after a while of woodcutting (probably 2 hours) my pickaxe broken. In the beginning it would walk away, but when I wasn't looking for a while, I got logged out. I logged back in, and I had a broken pickaxe. Think that's not the way it's meant to be.. is it? :)

Just to let you know, maybe you can do something with it.

Okay, well just because I have 0 posts doesn't mean I don't have experience programming :D . I actually have a problem getting SRL onto SCAR v.2.03 . It is so much easier on SCAR DiVi, but then again PowerSkills doesn't work on DiVi. I've tried looking at manuals and this guide is the best thing I came up with but it I had to do something wrong for an error to pop up in the debug box whle testing if it works (something tha went like..{include. SRL/SRL. scar}). Take a look at this and tell me if anything is not correct (I am trying to use SRL version 360) :

    Quoted from Thick As Blood

"Well, you’re probably reading this because you need help setting SCAR up for Autoing.
This guide will send you 10 easy steps, from downloading the programs you need, to running your first script. Pay careful attention, and do exactly as posted, and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Step 1 Do you have SCAR yet? Yes? Hopefully you downloaded it for free. No? Don’t worry, it’s right here, for free.

SCAR Version 2.03 (latest version) www.Dylock.net/scar

Okay, now Step 2 You’re going to install SCAR. Install it to all its default locations.

Step 3 Downloading Includes. In order to download includes for SCAR, you’ll need to only open SCAR, go to FILE and then go to “Download Includes.” Once you’ve done that, at the bottom of scar, a bunch of things should have popped up.. looking like this.
    http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/9279/downloadincludesbb6.jpg

Step 4 Downloading SRL. You’ll first have to visit http://www.srl-forums.com/forum/
Once you get to the forums, register there and become a member. Once you’re a member visit this link. - http://www.srl-forums.com/forum/offical-srl-download-t3410.html?t=3410 Here you can download SRL 3.6 (the current version is 3.6). (YOU CANNOT DOWNLOAD IT UNLESS YOU'RE A MEMBER!) Once you’ve downloaded 3.6 save it to your desktop.

Step 5 Downloading WinRaR. Download this program to extract the files from the Compressed .rar SRL folder. Here’s the link for a free download http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm Download, and Install.

So now, you’ve got everything you need, now it’s time to organize the folders and programs you’ve downloaded correctly so they’ll work.

Step 6 Now, step 6 will require you to first Extract your SRL folder. Double click the compressed folder. Inside the folder should look like this.. http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/5925/srlcompressedcn5.jpg

Now double click the folder that says “Plugins.”. Doing this will make the folder open, and inside you’ll see 4 .dll files.
    http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/8273/pluginsru6.jpg
These files are obviously plug-ins for SRL. So they need to go into your programs file folder were scar is.

Step 7 Open up the folder were SCARs Plugins are located. To do this, go to START on your task bar and then click RUN next, copy and paste this into run. C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\Plugins. Now you’re going to extract your 4 .dll Plugin files into your SCAR plugin folder from your SRL compressed folder. http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/5186/plugins2ga1.jpgNow, that’s all set.

Step 8 Your SRL. Now go back to your Compressed folder, to back to this page
    http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/5925/srlcompressedcn5.jpg

all you have to do is press
    http://img271.imageshack.us/img271/3794/srl1cy1.jpg.

Now that you have the whole folder infront of you again, find the Folder called “Includes.” Double click that folder, and inside you’ll find a folder, again called SRL. This folder will be going into your SCAR includes folder. Remember how you went to RUN and copy and pasted a link in for the plugins before? Well , you’ll do the same for this except the link is C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\includes. This is your SCAR includes folder. You’ll see a lot of .txt. Documents in here. Anyway, time to add your SRL. Same idea as the plugins from before, drag and drop, but this time it’s the SRL folder.
    Look here.
    http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/6016/srl2sp4.jpg

Step 9 Now, it’s time to see if all this organizing and hard work paid off. X out of all your windows and Open SCAR. You’ll theirs a white screen were it says Begin, Procedure, End. You’ll want to select all of that (ctrl + a) and erase it. Then copy the following code, and paste it.
    Program New;
    {.include SRL/SRL.scar}

    Begin
    SetupSRL;
    end.

Step 10 Now just press the big green RUN button. (or ctrl + alt + r). Now at the bottom of the SCAR screen it should say “Successfully compiled Line 174: [Hint] (294:43): Variable 'NEWLINE' never used in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\includes\srl\srl\core\Globals.scar” and there you go. How to obtain SCAR and all it’s components and set up to prepare to automate successfully. Continue down to view my "How to run your first Script" Tutorial.

How to Run your First Script!

Welcome to section 2 of my tutorial. This section is going to teach you how to run your very first script, using the Macro called SCAR!

    Excited? You should be!

For the script, we’re going to use a “power” script, otherwise known as PowerSkills written by the one and only Starblaster100. (One of the best SCAR script creators you’ll ever encounter) You can find that script, here. http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=156019

Now, what you should first do, is… DOWNLOAD THAT SCRIPT! Download it and definitely post a comment for Star, saying “Thanks” at least. Now save the scripts in your SCAR “scripts” folder. It should be located here.
    C:\Program Files\SCAR 2.03\Scripts.
Save the script, and then open SCAR up.

As you may know SCAR & Runescape combined can run a little slow when other applications are open, so at this time you might want to close all applications that are unnecessary, ex... LimeWire, MSN, AIM, IEXPLORER. I usually click CRTL + ALT + DELETE, and I close everything except SCAR and the Runescape client I use. ( I use the client provided by Runescape, it can be found on the front page, labeled by the link called “Downloads”.

Next thing to do is load your script into SCAR. This is VERY easy. Simply go to File, then Open, Then find SCAR 2.03 (or the current version you have should be 2.03+) and then double click on the script name! It should look something like this.
    http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/1218/58262676rj5.jpg

Now look at SCAR, as you have obviously noticed, a huge load of mumbo-jumbo has appeared in the window, what is this shit you say? It’s called PASCAL, or SCAR Script! This stuff tells the mouse exactly where to click, and where to go, and what to do using colors, and coordinates. Your screen should now look like this...
    http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/1218/58262676rj5.jpg

So now you have your Script in SCAR, and your Runescape window up.. Feeling antsy yet? Want to just run that damn script? Well SLOW DOWN! You need to specify your RuneScape client window, and you need to set your colors and your player array first. What’s all that mean? Well, here, I’ll show you…

First step, specify the client window! Your client window is obviously the RuneScape window, SCAR needs to know what program that is and where to begin clicking and ECT. To do this look on the tool bar on scar, you’ll find a small Crosshair icon, it looks exactly like this.
    http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/2050/72274473ni6.jpg

Now you’ll want to have SCAR open up so that you can click this button and hold it down, and drag it over to the RuneScape playing screen. Should look like this.
    http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/135/73045206pl6.jpg

Now, you’ve specified your RuneScape window, not it’s time to run your first script!
Hopefully, you’ve read the instructions at the beginning of the script in green, you should always read these, it tells you exactly what you need to do most of the time. Now if you haven’t read the instructions I’d consider reading them.

Alright now that you’ve read them, and all your accounts are all set and ready to go, we’re ready to start the script!

Now look on that same tool bar again except a little farther back, you should see a set of buttons that are green yellow and red. Hmm what does this resemble? A street light perhaps? What do these buttons do? Well, its kind-of obvious. The green arrow button will Run your script, the Yellow button with 2 lines will Pause your script, and the Red square button will Stop your script. Go figure, eh? Here’s a picture incase you cant find these buttons…

    http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/618/62711309wy0.jpg

Now, press the green button! Give it a sec to load, it’s a little slow at first, the next thing that should happen is that a window will pop up along with SCAR, this window is called a “Form” you should be so lucky to have this as it’s not in all scripts, and it makes it really user friendly. This is what you should see.
    http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/9213/60543302hy8.jpg

Now you’ll have to fill this out… If you don’t trust it, don’t use it, but your RuneScape user name, and password to the accounts you’re going to be Autoing on, go in here. This is so that the script can log you in, and out when needed. So you’re going to fill out, Username, Password, and then the option “Lamp Skill”. Lamp Skill is the skill you want the script to use when you encounter a genie random. The next thing you see is “Loads”. Loads, is the number of inventories full of the item that you’re powering. Ex. If you’re Power mining Iron and you want it to fill the inventory 5 times, before it switches to use the next account you have, then it’ll do that. If you want to use 1 account (frowned upon) and you want it to power, for forever, then set the loads to an extremely high number.

Anyway, once all that is set up and all your accounts are in the Form the next thing to do is to specify the color. Basically this is selecting the color of the rock, or the tree or whatever you’re power autoing. How do I get the color? Is probably the question you’re asking yourself. Well you and SCAR can easily do that. All you have to do is log on real quick, Press CTRL + ALT + P, and your RuneScape game will freeze up totally, don’t freak out, just select the color of the rock, or tree, or whatever. What do I mean by select? Well, just click it! Try to click it in a spot that’s color is a little different then the others. Unfortunately, when you’re in the Color picker mode, of SCAR you cant take screenshots, so I cant show you exactly what to do, but I can give you a basic example.
Ex. Say you’re going to pick the color on willow trees, what’s different about them? They have little pinkish, salmon colored flowers. This helps you out a lot, because all you have to do is tilt the screen down, press CTRL+ALT+P and then select one of those pinkish flowers. Now selecting this color is all you have to do, all you’ve done is turned that exact color into a code of numbers. This code of numbers appears in the “Debug” window of SCAR, located at the bottom. The bottom should look something like this.

    http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/8775/66841258zc6.jpg

You’ll now see the set of numbers that were input from the color you selected. In this case, it’s the color of a willow flower, and it’s 5732496. (As shown in the picture above.)
This is the color your mouse is going to look for when looking for the correct item to click. Basically it’s got the transportation, it just needs a destination. The transportation is SCAR and the script, the destination is the RuneScape client, and the color you picked.

Now you’re totally finished with setting up your first script and Automating.

Here’s a few help things before you go to run your first script.

CTRL + ALT + R = Run. Or in other words, it starts your script.

CTRL + ALT + S = Stop. Obviously Stops it.

CTRL + ALT +A = Pause. Obviously Pauses your Script, you can continue again with CTRL + ALT +R.

And that’s all you’ll need to know for now.

I’d like to give thanks to WhoCares357, for keeping me aware of updates, and Thanks to Starblaster100, for letting me use his script to make my tutorial more complete.

Also, if you’ve ran this script for a good amount of time, and would like to show it off, or if you’ve got a question, or a problem with the script itself, you can post here http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=156019 and ask or compliment Star.

Thanks again everyone, star ratings, "

This is all Thick As Blood works.

Please get back to me as soon as you can. THANKS

What error are you getting? And yes, that is a good step by step guide to downloading and extracting the SRL.

If you have programming experiance, then this should be all you need.

Go To www.Villu-Reborn.com, register on their forums, download the SRL, follow their guide.

I got "Failed when compiling". I'll try doing the procedure again. Excuse the name but this is the file name: Include file C:\Documents and Settings\Aleks\My Documents\PowerSkills_Ver_2.3_including_SRL\includes\SRL\includes\SRL\SRL.Scar does not exist.

So all I do is include that in the includes of SCAR 2.03 correct?

So I go to Local Disk>Program Files>SCAR 2.03? I don't have to drag-drop SRL into "includes" or "plugins"? Just into the folder and no particular part of it? I haven't done this in such a long time. It's changed :S
