Kevin Love suffered another injury and Irving continues to suck ass on the defensive end.

Things are looking good for the Raptors only 1.5 games back if they can grab that number 1 seed oh man that would be wonderful.

 

Not sure if serious or you're just being stupid as per usual. John Wall is better than Lowry as a point guard without question. If you watched the playoff series against the Wizards you could see he's not limited to a PnR game. I guess they'll need to sweep you again for you to come to your senses. He also got a triple double yesterday.

Let's break this down, Lebron can't shoot well from 3, this much is obvious. JR Smith always gets called for ticky tack fouls, similar to Chris Paul.

No Delly for the past 2 games, Kevin Love out for 4th Q, Cavs shot way below their average at the ft line 50%, and multiple things had to go wrong for the celtics to win, and it did unintentionally. At the end of the day the Celtics are a good team and they needed a 3 to win at the end of regulation. I'd say cavs are the best team in the East without question. Cavs were in a similar situation last year and went on a tear after the all star break (acquiring JR, Shump, Mozgov). Still 33 games left to play and I assure you they will finish as the first seed.

Wanna bet $20 on the outcome of the cavs vs raptors game feb 26? I say cavs win.

Apparently, the Hawks are looking to break up their core, if the Cavs could snag Kyle Korver, that would be amazing, although the SG position is already packed with Smith/Shump. I hope they get rid of Kevin Love though, keeping him would be a mistake.

Just been busy with life I've been enjoying the All-Star Weekend in Toronto I paid 1500 bucks for a ticket Lol the next time the All-Star game is in Toronto I might be like 50 so gotta enjoy it while it lasts, and I'm trying to recover my other account back but the staff is not convinced I am who I say I am and it's pissing me off.

I'm more intrested in seeing if Toronto makes a move or stands pat because they have a huge hole in the power forward position and in my opinion a Eastern Conference finals appearance is very possible.

Cleveland will make the finals but in my opinion the 2nd and 3rd round of the playoffs will be a lot more difficult for them this year it won't be a walk in the park.

 

That's cool, All-star weekend was pretty dope. I stand by the cavs having a cakewalk to the finals though. I guess we'll find out when it happens.

 

Only started watching NBA recently as I starting betting on teams. I'd say GSW looks really strong and Portland Trail blazers been winning me a decent amount of money

Honestly if they don't make a move it isn't the end of the world the team has been without Demarre Carroll for pretty much the entire season once he comes back it should be that spark they need...

He's a very well defensive player one on one and he can spread the floor out with his 3 point shooting so them not making a move might be the right choice.

Besides we don't want any contracts that would conflict with re-signing Demar Derozan because we need to pay him max he deserves it... He's already a top player in his position and the shooting guard position is very hard to replace besides Derozan you got Klay Thompson, James Harden, and Jimmy Butler two of which are in the West and Butler who's on a crap Bulls team.

 

Slightly off-topic but what would you guys recommend to someone who has minimal knowledge about the basketball but wants to get into it?

 

I'd say just watch the national games on espn, abc, and tnt (not sure if you have nbatv over there). I picked up the sport from there.

Are you interested in knowing the rules and such about basketball before watching it, or are you the type who learns by watching? That's how I learned football lol

 

I picked up football by playing madden back in the day haha. I guess that'd be the route for me too as from what little I've watched I've been intrigued but not necessarily engaged. I guess I'd want a bit of background knowledge on the rules/strategies before watching it.

That's a good video which wraps up the rules pretty quickly. It's easier to understand what's going on in the game after watching that. From there, I'd say watch a few nba games, and if you have any questions, explore from there.

 

No matter what circumstance the Raptors can never beat Chicago lol they just lose to Chicago every single time Doug Mcdermot career high 30 points don't kill me lool.

We'll see what happens when they play Cleveland on the 26th... Carroll will still be out our GM basically didn't make a trade because he thinks when Carroll comes back the team will play a lot better I don't think so...

Hopefully the Raptors win Cleveland is not that great of a road team... One thing I know for sure though is it will be like a playoff game because Lebron always steps up against a potential Eastern Conference Final's opponent.

Big showdown between Cleveland and Toronto coming tomorrow can't wait i'll be at the game.

This game is actually super important its the deciding tie breaker in the season series if they happen to finish with the same regular season record and Cleveland wants to make a statement that they are far above the rest of the East.

 

13-1 run by Raptors with 6 to go thanks to the refs calling foul every other possession. Lowry went off, but he'll need to do that every time to have a chance at beating the cavs, heck even chicago. Still think it's gonna be Cavs vs Bulls in ecf. It also didn't help that Lebron played 40 minutes and didn't get rest in the 4th after closing out the 3rd.

refs called 9 fouls against raptors and 5 against cavs in the 4th quarter so idk what you mean about the refs
