    So I just...

So I just played football for the first time in like 6 months. Legit I have not done any cardio at all, just weight training.

It is safe to say, I was tired. My chest feels tight, and my legs are soar.. Sucks to be unfit.

Anyone else had a similar experience lately?

I recently went through a change in my life and haven't been able to hit the gym much at all. I pulled out some free weights from storage and have been using them. When I started with these free weights my strength had almost halved. I was lifting half of what I was when I was at the gym regularly. Muscle and strength fades fast unfortunately.

I found when I first started back a while ago that I lost some but not all strength. It was primarily the muscular endurance and the ability to do the higher sets for longer that I lost.

Had that during pre-season. Was slacking on the cardio so when I turned up to training and they had us doing fitness drills my muscles were sore. I guess it pays to run 30 minutes - 1 hours 3-5 times a week.

When I started to do training sessions with my personal trainer, so much muscle sore the next day that I getting out of bed was just to much.
