Finding Fights as Range Tank

Is finding a bh fight really that hard on a range tank? I'm debating dropping my pure and starting a range tank, but if it's going to take 30 mins to find a fight every time, I don't want to bother. Anybody have a range tank with input?

 

you'll probably run into alot of zerkers who'll probably just log. so i'd say yeah.

 

I have a lvl 97 range tank and I never struggle to find fights.

Half and half, depending on the times you're online.

Like mentioned above, people base their fights/targets on combat levels therefore ensure you're a similar combat level to others and some will have no choice to fight you but make sure your stats aren't incredibly stupid to the point you're scaring yourself.

You've just got to think, if the tables were turned would you be willing to fight someone of your capability?

 

When I was a range tank I was 90 def, 96 range. Except for my target nobody would fight me. Those that actually fought me ate to 75ish hp because "you're 90 def stfu". Went main because fuck that

 

Think you'll find other range tanks who will fight you, so I wouldn't worry.

 

Tanks aren't really designed for edge PKing anyway, take mystics + dhide up to black chins and kill the chin killers. Trust me me it's great fun

 

range tanks are pretty powerful in my opinion.

maybe not at the higher levels though

 

make a void ranger instead.

42 def 94 range 94 mage with veng.

if you don't enjoy that you can either turn it into a zerker or a higher level range tank win win

 

Definitely the perfect range build for edge/BH.
