Server set up

yer, i would like to set up a sever that supports php. I try with out php and could only acsess over my network? help would be good

Download the version that corresponds to your operating system, install it, then play around with some settings and you should be ready in no time.

With the limited information given, I'd guess you haven't set up your router/modem to allow incoming connections. Google around for 'port forwarding' (I think that's the correct term... haven't set up a server in awhile) and you should be good to go.

sign up your machine, set the url for it. If your server is running, then you can access it from there with that url =p.

 

Just download apache and php. Chase made a tutorial for this?
