overwatch banned turned into vac ban lmao

This is proof that an over-watch banned turns into a vac banned, you don't even need to cheat for this to happen, just random silvers and novas doing over-watch have to put that you are cheating, just enough to get you ban unfairly r.i.p.

This was a smurf account I was ranking up by the way.

 

vac has nothing to do with overwatch, if you get overwatch banned you get a game ban on your profile not vac.

Yeah.. If you got a vac ban then you got detected as well as overwatched. Overwatch is a good tool, though I've had a smurf banned when not cheating.

 

yeah my profile just says, game ban instead of vac ban, but in the picture I show, it says I'm banned from vac secure servers so isn't that still vac banned lol, and the fact that I can't play competitive anymore makes it no different. Valve is full of lies banning innocent people just like cevo.

Over watch was the best and worse thing to ever happen to counter strike.

 

An overwatch ban just prevents you from competitive matches. A vac ban will prevent you from accessing any vac enabled server.

You have likely been overwatched & vac banned. You only receive a vac ban if the cheats you used were detected.

 

To be honest, you were probably cheating. I smurf down at Silver all the time and have never been banned, I get reported by the enemy team every game. Only players I can see getting OW'd or VAC banned are PRO players, or highly skilled Global Elite's.

lol if I was actually cheating my main would be already banned and I would be banned from esea, plus all of my other smurfs would be banned by now also.

 

You would assume that an overwatch ban would lead to Valve checking on your account for any access to cheats, which would lead to a VAC.. Has nothing to do with you playing esea or your other accounts.

 

if it were cheats, then I would of gotten vac ban right away, if I can't play competitive on the account how would they check my account for any access to cheats when I wouldn't be using the account in the first place. It's been 6 days since the overwatch ban and my profile still says game ban, but on my account settings it says ban from secure servers because of a cheating infraction, how does that make any sense. Vac ban or not I still can't play on vac secure servers. Valve is a joke I have seen people aimbotting, walling so blatantly, they even make it to global rank using cheats and I didn't even make it to my third game mm game playing legitly.

 

If you get banned on one account your other accounts aren't affected. Unless of course you're a serial cheater and cheat on all your accounts, then you'll recieve multiple bans.

What is your main rank by the way? And you were smurfing in Silver right?

 

I'm a global elite in my main and I was smurfing knowing that I only got to play 3 games, I played the first, I let my brother played the second which he lost so I jumped in and played the third and won it. first game I'm going to assuming the first game is full of silvers and perhaps a nova because I believe that is how it starts I don't remember their ranks but I know that is how it begins silvers and perhaps some novas and soemtimes smurfs in other team. Then after that as you win you get higher ranks and so.

But I'm going to upload the highlights to youtube so you guys can see I didn't cheat and how bs this thing is another reason I will upload it for you guys entertainment I will also leave the link to the full match if anyone would like to review it.

 

i dont think you understand how the game works,

OW pretty much is a vac ban, but it's a game ban for one game, vac on the other hand is for all games.

 

yes I said that up there that OW was sort of like a vac ban because I can't even play on vac secure servers and btw you are wrong, getting a vac ban doesn't deny you from playing in other games vac secure servers. For example if you get vac ban on cs go for cheating, you can still go back and play on cs source vac secure servers.

 

It supposedly works in a way that Overwatch is to prevent potential 'cheaters' from participating within Match Making. VAC is their 'anti-cheat' that detects processes and actual memory manipulation.

If Overwatch is the equivalent to a VAC ban essentially then it's a very flawed system. I had a smurf Overwatch banned, I've not logged back into that account to confirm whether or not I'm banned from all servers and not just matchmaking. I did not cheat on the account. However, like k3vin received an overwatch ban.

This is also very flawed in the way you can receive an overwatch ban for grief. Which could be a simple retaliation to a team-attack or something, if that's the equivalent to a vac ban then what is going on... Just because their anti-cheat has 'always' been inferior doesn't mean they get to pie it off and rely on gold novas to determine the cheaters amongst the game.

 

it's a flawed system for sure, but with the amount of rampant cheaters in the game something needs to be done, none of the major cheat sites have been detected in a over 9 months, i have a buddy who has been hacking since feb of last year and has yet to be caught by vac or overwatch. pretty sad tbh its one of the reasons i stopped playing, GE was impossible to play at at times

 

yeah there are people that have been cheating for a lnog time and still not caught, I met someone around november that made it all the way to global elite by cheating and he has been cheating for months and he still not vac, he was finally caught on faceit and banned for cheating but never on mm. I'm not assuming he cheats by the way, I seen him play he makes it obvious plus he even confess to me he cheated and even offer me cheats but I turn down the offer. The thing is valve is so shit that people like him still not banned I reported him many times and nothing lol.
