It also completely destroyed my $1250 patio x.x

Funny, one of my friends from SDSU saw a tree that fell on a house and described it like that.

But real talk, I managed to climb a tree and the sheer mass of my flab rolls caused the tree branch to snap. I'm surprised you haven't seen the saved in portion of your roof yet.

Please explain how a 16 year old kid has enough credit history, verified (taxed) income, employment history and, money down to purchase a home of this size? You would need to show a lengthy line of credit and good payments. Example: 5 year loan on a vehicle. You would need to show that you've been steadily employed for 5 years and, make enough income to support the loan. Your income to debt ratio would need to be inline as well. Now given the size of the home and its location, we can assume its easily priced between 200-400k Min. Now there are several variables as well. Your parents could of co-signed, they could be renting it to you cheap/gave it to you, or home owner financing. The last option available is 50% + down to circumvent a lot of the finance companies stipulations. Now given my knowledge of finance companies, I dont believe for a second you could possibly finance a home. Hell i dont even think you have the ability to get a 2k car loan... It is more likely your parents own it and rent it to you. Possibly a graduation gift or college enrollment gift. Another likely scenario is a trust fund / inheritance. These are much more likely and honestly the only possible way this is your home. Now you never stipulated that you actually purchased this home. You merely gave a sly answer about success. I dont hate on anyone who gets help. As long as you dont pretend you bought and paid for it by yourself.

 

You can't... You can't be 16 and own a home like this with a mortgage as you can't even open a line of credit until you are age 18 in the US.

So if he is age 16, then this is all a lie.
