Better Call Saul

Anyone hyped for season 2 next month? Season 1 was alright but i hope it picks up this next season.

 

Is it worth watching?

I loved BB, but I felt like it got slow at times (especially when it was to deal with Skylar drama).

Saul was probably my favorite character from the entire show besides Mike, so I'll probably give it a try later.

 

Ya, hyped. I enjoyed the flight so can't wait for the continuance. I hate waiting for new seasons to release

 

If you are a fan of Mike, i highly recommend you start watching it. I'l leave it at that =P

I agree. I prefer to binge watch on netflix haha.

To be honest I didn't expect much of "Better call Saul" and boy was I wrong. The character building is really good and it sorta shows how and why Saul became the person he is in Breaking Bad. So far Better call Saul > Breaking Bad for me due to Breaking Bad having some ups and downs for me. It's not fair to compare them though, because Breaking Bad has 5 season vs 1 of BCS.


PS: After the 1st episode I finished the entire season the same day.

I'm liking Better Call Saul season two. Still slow, but has been keeping my attention.

You're going to absolutely love it. The show isn't slow at all, and really revolves around the charm of Saul / Mike. You don't need any knowledge from Breaking Bad, but if you do have it then you'll just respect what is happening that much more.

 

Season 2 Episode 3 cliffhanger. I'm dying to see what happens next XD

 

Better Call Saul is a good show, but it will always be in the shadow of Breaking Bad. BB was definitely superior. That being said, I still enjoy Better Call Saul. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's basically a less interesting copy of BB. Both tackle moral ambiguity, however BB's premise was more entertaining to me.

I kind of compare the two like I would True Detective S1 and 2. S1 was definitely better, but S2 was still worth watching.

 

It's worth watching, but don't have any expectation for it to include any aspect of breaking bad other then director jokes.

 

This season has me absolutely hooked. Enjoying this show more than I enjoyed Breaking Bad.

 

Great show, couldnt get into it at first but I like it now, it's like another view of breaking bad, but in Saul's eyes and what he goes through daily, at least that's how I find it

 

I'm enjoying the show a lot at the moment, especially when the show is focusing on Mike.

 

A bit slow in my opinion. But I still love it.

And I aggree Mike parts are much more entertaining

 

Oh no. Last episode set up quite the expectation of a shit-storm for the next one. Chuck is gonna really ram it to him.

 

After talking with friends who all watched Breaking Bad, I found out that most people don't like Better Call Saul? I have no idea why, because I am hooked, I love the show. Anyone else experiencing negativity against BCS from personal circles?

 

Waiting for season 3, interesting series.
