It's really not worth it, ultimately all you need is protein and possibly some creatine or post workout BCAA's.

BCAA's otherwise known as Branch Chain Amino Acids are literally the building blocks for muscle, they are what make up your muscles. Very worth the investment IMO.

I wouldn't recommend it based on personal experience. A few years ago I tried Noxipro and it made my heart pound like crazy. It also made me feel tired.

However your body might react differently to pre workout. You should try and see if it works for you.

Pre-workout isn't for building muscle, but it is for energy and focus. The main purpose of preworkout is to give you a ton of energy before the gym which should in turn keep you focused on your work out. I use it because I work out later in the day when I'm already tired from work and such and will say it does wonders for me.

Some preworkouts come with a N.O (nitrous oxide) system which increases oxygen in the blood, in turn increasing blood flow which will give you a greater pump. This is something I look for in a preworkout.
Ultimately everyone is different and you should try it for sure. Avoid C4 and other highly marketed products as they are all garbage meant to just sell.

I use C4. I'll take it about 10 minutes before I leave the house and mid drive to the gym I can feel that shit kick in so quick, becoming energized and focused.

I don't think it's really needed.. If you have a bad day and no Motivation then you could drink a pre-workout.. But not before every training session.. I just drink Coffeeee (doesn't matter for me)

I'd drink a cup of coffee or some green tea for an extra energy boost before a workout. Much more healthier than a pre-workout supplement.

Tbh I find Coffee or just eating food before working more beneficial. Often times more carbs before I work out helps a lot more, I don't see a need for pre workout. You should be good with extra protein supplements and creatine if you even need creatine.

I do see the market for it since I'm often tired at the gym....but I try and stay away from any of that harmful shit. I want to look good when I'm 45-60 too. People getting results because of the bad things they ingest are going to regret it in 20 years.

Some pre-workouts make me feel sick. I've been doing great at the gym without any.

If you need a boost, they sell some with caffeine to get you going. They're mostly used for energy/focus.

I also think that it's more of a placebo so if you're into those types of things that make you have the feeling of MUST having something, then try it out. I'm sure you could get some free samples from your local nutrition shop.

Don't get hooked on it man. Nothing but stimulants that do who knows what to your body. It's heavily unregulated, and if you really must, I would say to mix your own basic ingredients together (caffeine, arginine, beta alanine).

I personally take them and have for years, but if I had it to do over again, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Yes in my opinion, gives me that extra motiviation to have a crazy workout! BSN no xplode 2.0 is the one I use, makes me extremely focused and helps me get out extra reps

Buy a tub and take a scoop whenever you have no energy at all to make it to the gym. Besides that, just go without it. Taking pre-workout before every workout is too expensive and not all that needed.
