Taking someones girl who doesn't treat her good?

Personally for me it's a no-no in terms of morals. Relationships are so complex it's impossible to be judging all of the nuances to each individual one. I'd say she has to formally leave it before anything can happen.

I don't care about the whole saving someone morality play, at the end of the day it's most likely going to end poorly for you. Relationships with people don't need to be such dramas, with real friends or partners there needn't be that - it's just a waste of time. Sure, there will be ups and downs but if they are someone that's inviting drama into their life by either being weak willed to not leave this person, simply wanting to create drama as it's interesting or for whatever reason - it's a character fault in my opinion and a giant red flag.

Even then if she formally leaves him you shouldn't be shacking up with her for some time anyways and as hard as it might be at the time I'd just steer clear. Firstly, she'll still be on the rebound. You can only get into a relationship with clarity when you are in a place where you are fine and happy being single, there will be things from her previous relationship which will drag into this one. Secondly, the character fault that I mentioned earlier.

This guy though coming up with the realest advice. Let her leave her own relationship prior or else you'really in the wrong for breaking up a relationship and will definitely cause unneeded suffering. If she breaks up with him first it's none of you're doing and a better moral stance on the situation.

NO NO NO, unless she actually decides to dump him then yeah sure, however taking someones girl is just disrespectful. They have so much time invested, memories and stuff, gotta respect others, what you have is yours and what he has is his. However a lot of people do this so do whatever you want, just my two cents. I personally couldnt do this to another person.

I'd steer clear of it and have no influence. If they break up on their own terms and after a suitable amount of time passes where she's recovered from the breakup and she's willing to move on - then I'd consider chasing her.

This. I'd just hate to seem like the guy who broke a couple up. Neither of you should rush into things and regret it later on, either.

I can understand where the struggling comes from but you have to understand this is the best route. The guilty feeling wouldn't be "a bit" - if you were the one to break up the relationship you'd also be breaking up the one between yourself and your friend. In the event that the relationship between you and the girl doesn't work out, suddenly none of the 3 of you are friends anymore.
