I'm not the only one who appraised it for around that price, you know. I mean, Runescape is an MMORPG, emphasis on the Role Playing. Spend some time in W41/42, there are thousands of people there who spend hours a day role playing. I bet it would heavily appeal to someone like that. I'd personally pay 20m for it (as a non-role player), and the guy has already had an offer of 20m from another user as well.

About the first price check, it is meant to have a space! Harry Potter would be worth much less if it was spelt HarryPottter and Wise Old Man would be worth a lot less if it was spelt WiseOldMan.

In all the books and the movies it is spelt as Sirius Black, his first and second names respectively.

 

True, but most people wanting to buy a name won't want one with a space in it, it just doesn't look as nice sometimes, 10m is a respectable price for a regular name seller/buyer. If you could find someone who is a big fan of Harry Potter then you may be able to sell it for more.

 

The 'It doesn't look as nice' I don't quite understand. It is an incredibly well-known and recognisable name of one of the main characters of one of the largest franchises in popular culture in the world. 'HarryPotter' is not worth anywhere near as much as Harry Potter, and you can't have 'Harry' or 'Potter' on their own as it doesn't identify with the character. RonWeasley is not worth anywhere near as much as Ron Weasley. Without the space it looks worse and is just grammatically incorrect. The space in it is what *makes* it valuable. Same concept with Gnome Child and Gnomechild. The latter is far less valuable.

I've had private offers of at least 150M+ from other people, 10m is a complete joke in my opinion.

 

Spacing doesn't matter if it's grammatically correct. This isn't even an argument. Sirius Black > SiriusBlack. Yes, often names with spaces are given lesser value but this is a name so the spacing is only appropriate. I could see Sirius Black going for a pretty penny to a big Potterhead, certainly more than 10m.

Is there a meaning to it or is it just a name, it isnt that common so I couldnt see it getting too much. I had to look it up to even know its a name maybe 50-100 rs3 to the right person but I'm just guessing.

 

This seems about right, the thing with uncommon names is that they're only valuable to a person that has that name. I'd say it would be worthless to someone without that name, and if you can somehow find a person with that name who's looking for a new RSN then you can maybe sell it for 50m. But finding that person will be extremely difficult
