How much did u play rs leading up to when u were mod and during?

 

3 years, I was one of the first promoted in 2004. During, I only played once a week for about 3-4 hours total.

 

Is it more or less a random selection for who gets promoted?

Because I'm sure there's thousands upon thousands who meet the criteria

 

It is not random, most pmods have had great reputations for years and years and have actively helped the community through bot busting events etc.

 

This will most likely get you forum moderator status. Most people who get promoted nowadays are community involved video makers who aren't ready for the responsibilities of being a player moderator, hence the behavior of some of them.

 

Do Jagex ever give any confidential information to P-Mods? Or did they know it would just get leaked?

 

Is their really an private area for jmods/pmod meetings?

 

Yes it was a room that looked like a basement, nothing special. And @Brendan only private information we receive is about meetings, bot busts, etc. and occasionally about some updates.

Sometimes especially if you accidentally type in a crowded world

 

Did u ever get any other benefit besides information about incoming things and fact you could mute people?

 

I made a couple billion muting rival dicing ccs which at the time was worth a lot more than it is today.
