I'm fairly new to the sythe community. I would like gain trust and eventually start my own gold industry business here at sythe. I have no problem finding my project. But since I'm deployed in the military and my time is limited how would I gain trust? Any suggestions or tips please?
Honestly, it just takes time. Once you push through your first few trades, people will start to realize you're a legitimate member and you'll have more and more people begin to trust you. Just stay professional and keep at it!
It does take time, even for people such as Bogla, R2 and Arcus. They put time and effort into their business and over time it has succeeded to where they are now, never put your head down and always keep your mind focused on the end goal you want, creating a gold business. Eventually it will happen.
That's a really fancy way of saying nothing. To op: if you're doing gold selling, always use a middleman and deal in BTC. The reason you're using a middleman is A. 2 Vouches instead of 1 B. More trustworthy, since odds are they won't scam you (if you need a middleman hit me up ) The reason to use BTC is A. Smart people won't take Paypal or other chargebackable methods from a newcomer B. You won't get charged back Just some tips for you
I want to start a gold selling business but i worry about getting sweeped for a RWT ban and also how am I going to attract customers with the lack of vouches and time i've spent on sythe.
RWT Ban, honestly, I wouldn't really worry too much unless you start out with thousands, if you do that, outside of using a VPN and different accounts I'm not fully sure. Attracting customers? Have lower prices, it'll suck since you'll make a lower profit margin, but it won't take to long until you're able to start upping the price a bit. Make sure to always be nice to people, even if they piss you off, since they may come back eventually. You'll also end up getting a lot of people coming back to you, so one 5m purchase may turn in to several hundred million down the road.
Just be active and posting for around 6 months to a year with your donor position and you will have earned most people's trust.
Lower margins. Example: if large companies buy for $1/m and sell for 1.5$/m, offer 1.1$/m and 1.4$/m to give people incentive to use you =) But always ask for a vouch, and start building that number up ^-^
Yeah, I started a month before ya and I'm already viewed as pretty trusted among many. Just keep at it and try to be available a lot. Definitely lower your margins, maybe even don't profit for a bit. It's always possible to buy at 1.2 and sell at 1.2, simply for vouches and not profit to build trust. Good luck!
Pick something, then stick to it. Do you like playing League? Try offering some ELO Boosting, or hand-leveling accounts for people. Like WoW or RS? Level skills in that. That's how I started off, and overtime built my trust, gained larger and larger orders and then switched my focus elsewhere after I became "trustworthy" in the eyes of the users of this site. I don't know about others, but I also use community participation and involvement as another gauge of trust. If I can tell you're emotionally invested in the wellbeing of this site, and its users, that just adds to your reputation in my eyes.
This, but don't confuse it with spamming. But rather, contribute when you're able to contribute. Ask yourself if you're actually doing anything to further the discussion or answer a question. Being labelled a spammer is even worse than not posting at all.
